The herb kirkazon is a rather poisonous plant, therefore, during its use, you should be extremely careful and observe the necessary doses and proportions. Among the numerous species of the Kirkazon family, special medicinal properties are concentrated in Kirkazon ordinary (clematis).
Aristolochic acids are considered the main medicinal substance of Kirkazon, besides them, Kirkazon herb is rich in essential oils, steroids, derivatives of brown resins, etc. In folk medicine, all parts of the plant are used: the leaves and stem are harvested in May-June, and the root - in mid-late autumn.
Kirkazon is used in the following cases:
- Inside - reduces pressure by dilating blood vessels; to increase the body's strength and resistance during colds; poor digestion; tuberculosis; gout; malaria; exhaustion; dropsy and as a menstrual prolonger.
- Outwardly - as a wound healing, analgesic and antiseptic agent.
- For baths / compresses - for boils, scrofula, mastitis, purulent skin diseases (wounds, abscesses). At the same time, the infusion of Kirkazon is able to perfectly cleanse wounds from pus, reducing the inflammatory process and accelerating healing.
