Cyperus flower

The cyperus flower is a fairly popular indoor plant, which has already been appreciated by many flower growers in our country. It has a wonderful and very original appearance. The cyperus flower looks like a palm tree familiar to us, but its leaves have a slightly shaggy appearance and resemble umbrellas. The cyperus flower is often compared to fireworks because of its appearance.

The cyperus flower is quite unpretentious and it is quite simple to keep it at home. This plant loves bright light and moisture, which is not surprising, since it comes from the tropics. The cyperus flower requires abundant watering, especially in summer. It is better to put it in a tray filled with water. Avoid placing it next to a central heating radiator, as the air in this place is extremely dry and can adversely affect the condition of the plant.

Feeding Cyperus is recommended to be done about two to three times a month, and in winter the amount of feeding is reduced to one.

Tsiperus feels good at temperatures from 12 to 25 degrees. The optimum temperature for its content is 20-21 degrees, and in winter about 16-18 degrees. One of the features of this plant is the love of permanent residence. The cyperus flower does not tolerate moving enough and often even dies when changing its place of residence.

Cyperus can bloom, but this happens very rarely at home. At the same time, its flowers are not particularly beautiful, therefore they are not of great value. The whole decorative value of Cyperus lies in its interesting shaggy leaves.

A very beautiful indoor flower. Looks especially good on the windowsill. However, although cyperus is considered unpretentious, it needs to be watered very often. Otherwise, the tips begin to dry.
