Understanding how to plant cauliflower
How to plant cauliflower? This question arises for all gardeners who want to enjoy the excellent taste of this culture throughout the season and receive the tremendous benefits that it gives to the body.
When talking about how to plant cauliflower, you should first consider the process of preparing the soil. Seedlings should not be placed in the ground that has just been dug: it must lie down well before planting. For planting, it is best to choose areas with sandy loam with a high humus content or loose loam, in which lime or ash must be added, as well as manure.
The best way to grow is from seedlings in pots (such planting material responds best to transfer to open ground). The seedless method also has a right to exist, in which seeds are sown several pieces per hole, and then thinned out. It is necessary to plant seeds in pots in the second half of March, having previously disinfected them, in even rows with a small distance from each other. When the first valid leaf appears, the seedlings dive into separate pots and are carefully fertilized with ammonium nitrate, potassium chloride or manure infusion, as well as double superphosphate. A month and a half after the emergence of seedlings, it is time to plant the cabbage in a permanent place. Planting should be carried out so that at least thirty centimeters of free soil remains between individual plants, and be accompanied by the introduction of one hundred grams of ash and a handful of humus into each hole.
