Cutting
A disc for a grinder for wood is rarely used directly in sawing. With its help, you can process boards up to 40 mm thick, while observing safety rules. There are two types of saw blades with which you can cut the board:
- Hybrid. It consists of a round metal base and a chainsaw chain encircling it. The nozzle is used when working with thin boards, with small cuts in length.
- Circular saw blade or hand saw blade. It is a circular saw blade with different sized teeth located along its outer edge. The pitch and size of a tooth affects its characteristics. The larger it is, the more aggressive the sawing. The smaller, the neater the cut is.
The standard circle for circular or hand saws is cast from solid steel. It is designed for installation in a stationary machine with a rigid seat. The angle grinder operates at a lower speed, the disc constantly vibrates. This can lead to its destruction, as well as injury to the immediate contractor and others. Therefore, this type of work is not always safe.
