Cooking according to the second recipe, salt and soda are used instead of glue. After adding the components, the mass is mixed until smooth. In this case, salt plays the role of a thickener. If you add a large amount, you get rubber, so a little salt is poured in.

How to make from water and salt at home

For 200 ml of hot water, you will need 5 heaped teaspoons of salt. Using a spoon, the liquid is stirred until the salt is completely dissolved. Coloring agent is added as desired. Silicate glue is squeezed into the liquid. The size of the slime depends on its quantity. After that, the container is left in this state for 25-30 minutes, without stirring and other actions.

With the expiration of the specified time, the mass is slightly stirred with a stick, and the glue is pulled out of the water. Water is squeezed out, and the mass is kneaded a little by hand to get a homogeneous structure. After these actions, you can play with the slime. If a dye is used in the cooking process, a plastic container is taken, which is not a pity for this business. Expensive dishes can go bad.

Which face mask is right for you?

Slimes from the film mask are fragrant and viscous, which distinguishes them favorably from toys made of glue and tetraborate. Cosmetic mask is the main polymer adhesive used to make slimes.

Any mask-film is suitable for slime, it can be found in different forms of release.

The remedy is found:

• jar.

Please note: it is not at all necessary to buy an expensive film mask. Its cost will not affect the quality of the toy in any way.

What can replace it?

If there is no film mask, it can be replaced with other ingredients that are definitely in every home:

foam and shampoo - soda will be the activator, but it is not always possible to make a toy;

toothpaste and sugar - in this case, it is unlikely that you will be able to play, since it is not a slime that is obtained, but rather sugar mucus;

salt and shampoo - the most important thing is not to overdo it with salt;

chocolate paste and marshmallows - edible slime.
