If you have a small garden, then every centimeter of it is worth its weight in gold. Therefore, the rational use of space, even under trees, is an important issue.
In the shade of trees, not every plant or flower can feel comfortable. But there are quite a few beautiful plants that grow well in such conditions.
These include spring flowers: daffodils, crocuses, snowdrops, hellebore, imperial hazel grouse, winter spring and some more. They bloom well as long as it is light under the deciduous trees.
From summer flowering plants, shade-tolerant plants should be chosen, for example: onion lily, aquilegia, gray geranium.
For the autumn time, it is good to choose decorative and late-flowering herbaceous plants: ginseng gentian, Japanese anemone, magnificent chitus.
Some flowers will not only decorate the tree trunk circle, but will help trees in the fight against various pests. For example, nasturtium will scare away apple lungwort, marigolds and snowdrops, fruit aphids, calendula nematodes.
