These plants have one distinguishing feature: the transmission of the disease among themselves, therefore, after the treatment has been carried out, start transplanting the infected plant to another place, and for healthy flowers, carry out prophylaxis. The most common diseases are:
- Fusarium. With this disease, the stem becomes thinner, and the flower does not develop. For treatment, a manganese solution is used.

- Gray rot. The cause is improper care. For treatment, they are treated with chemicals.
- Powdery mildew. When infected, it is treated with soapy water.
- August disease. If infested, immediately dispose of the affected tulip by incineration. The disease manifests itself in the form of brownish spots on the entire plant.
Also tulips can attack insect pests, which are also carriers of diseases. These include: slugs that damage the entire plant; bears, because of their activity, the plant dies, as they damage the root system, you can make special baits with poison against them; onion mite, affects the main bulb, but, as a result, the whole plant dies, use any fungicide against it.
