The Mi-171 combat vehicle is a new generation aircraft that incorporates the most positive qualities of all previous models of military helicopters of this type. It should be noted that transportation can be carried out both inside the cargo compartment and on the external sling of the vehicle. The sanitary version allows you to transport 12 wounded soldiers on a stretcher and an accompanying orderly. For rescue operations, the helicopter is equipped with a winch with an arrow, with which it is possible to lift loads weighing 150 kilograms. For amphibious landings, the SU-R system was installed on the helicopter, with the help of which soldiers can leave the vehicle when it hovers in the air above the ground.
Due to the EVU system installed on the helicopter, which provides shielding of the exhaust, the vehicle has a great combat survivability. The helicopter is also equipped with an automatic reflector drop system. The Mi-171 has armor represented by plates that can be removed if not needed. On hauls or to increase the flight range, the helicopter can be equipped with additional outboard tanks, and it is also possible to install an additional tank inside the cargo compartment.
For combat operations, the Mi-171 helicopter can be equipped with a system that interferes with all enemy radio frequencies. For night missions, a night vision system and infrared equipment are provided to monitor the situation both on the ground and in the air. For communication, the helicopter has a radar station and a satellite navigation system. The designers have thought out an emergency splashdown system, which allows an emergency landing of the car on the water. All this was achieved with the help of modern equipment of foreign and Russian manufacture.
Due to the fact that the designers were guided by the wishes of the main customer, a sliding door was installed on the starboard side of the helicopter, which was larger than that of the standard Mi-8 machine. Instead of conventional cargo doors, the new machine was equipped with an electro-hydraulic ramp.
The aircraft is controlled by two pilots, namely the pilot-in-command and the co-pilot. The commander's seat is located on the left in the cockpit. The commander controls the vehicle, makes aiming and launching of unguided rockets and fire from cannons. The co-pilot is involved in helping to control the vehicle in situations when the commander launches guided missiles. In addition, the co-pilot performs the duties of a navigator, and also controls the "Shturm" system, with the help of which the target is detected and the weapon is aimed.Sometimes the co-pilot acts as a shooter from the machine guns that are installed in the nose of the car.

3. When writing the names of address-forming elements in Russian, abbreviated names of republics, territories, regions, cities of federal significance, autonomous regions, autonomous districts, municipalities, settlements, elements of a planning structure, elements of a street-road network, identification elements of an addressing object are used, given in the Appendix to these Rules.
4. At the end of the abbreviated names of address-forming elements, a dot is put, except for cases when the abbreviated name of address-forming elements is not formed by contraction or the abbreviated form does not end in the same letter as the full name of address-forming elements.
5. The names of the address-forming elements are not abbreviated if the decoding of the abbreviation of the name of the address-forming element leads to a different understanding of its name.
