Yellow varieties

The petals are arranged in 5-6 rows. Has an unusual luminous color. The leaves are quite large. Stems are thick, firm, slightly deviated, light. The foliage is dense. The hybrid of this variety of peonies is simple, semi-double.
Lastres. The bush reaches a height of 70 cm. It is compact enough. Beautiful buds of bright red color, yellow stamens with red veins. The diameter of the flower of this variety of peonies is about 19 cm. The buds are arranged in 4-5 rows, the stems are thick, with large leaves, light. The leaves are bright, shiny. Velma Atkinson. The height of the bush is 80 cm. The buds are bright carmine pink, with a diameter of 18 cm.

"America". A beautiful compact bush of this garden variety of peonies reaches 75 cm in height. The flower is dark red, up to 21 cm in diameter. Simple shape, non-double. The petals are wide, with smooth edges, corrugated. The buds are shaped like tulips. The stamens are short, bright yellow, collected in the form of a pompom. Each stem has up to 4 buds. The leaves are very decorative, green in color. The flower opens with wide, even petals. Has a low odor. The variety is universal.

Professionals of the Moscow State University Botanical Garden and amateur flower growers have bred many varieties of peonies with excellent decorativeness and the ability to withstand Siberian or Far Eastern winters. Among them are especially good:

The best varieties
Over the decades of growing peonies, gardeners have identified the most beautiful varieties that are always popular.
Among them:
- Sarah Bernhardt. The variety was bred in the 19th century, but still has not lost its popularity. Raspberry-pink buds are about 20 cm in diameter and exude a light, pleasant aroma during the flowering period, which begins in the second half of June. The bushes of the variety are tall and strong, they do not need a garter when growing, since the stems are strong and do not tilt to the ground under the weight of the buds.
- The Qiao sisters. One of the rare and amazing varieties, its peculiarity is the two-tone shade of the petals. One half is colored purple red and the other half is creamy white. The diameter of the bud of this variety is about 16 cm, and the height of the bush is within 120-130 cm. The flowering period is in June.
- Pastel Splendor. The variety belongs to ITO-hybrids and does not exceed 70 cm in height. The bush is compact, neat, therefore it is suitable for growing in small flower beds. The diameter of the bud is about 16 cm, on one bush there are up to 70 of them. The color of the petals is cream, pink or white, the core is bright yellow. During flowering, peonies exude a pleasant and light aroma.

Tree peony - distinctive features
The colossal variety of varieties and varieties of tree peonies is divided into three garden groups. This type of peony, seen and introduced into the culture in the Middle Kingdom, is otherwise called semi-shrub.
