A large-flowered variety, the diameter of the inflorescences reaches 13 cm. The color of the inflorescences is predominantly pink: light pink, lavender, burgundy, and also dark blue.
Duo
Densely branched bush of hybrid origin with a large number of ball-shaped double flowers. The height and width of the bush is usually no more than 30-35 cm. The petals can be painted in snow-white, pink, bright red. This is a very unusual and beautiful plant.
Nocturne
Bright petunia with densely doubled lilac buds. The center of the petals is colored in a darker shade, and the border is almost white.
Burgundy
The variety is distinguished by a shade of flowers - rich burgundy. Ruffled petals give this petunia a particularly festive look. The buds are about 7 cm in diameter.
Advantages and disadvantages
Many growers note that Tidal Wave petunia is convenient for its extreme unpretentiousness, durability and ease of growing. But let's take a closer look at what pluses and minuses this flower stands out:
- The plant blooms 15 days faster than other varieties.
- Flowering is carried out evenly, while in some species of petunias flowering is faster or, conversely, slower.
- If planting seedlings in containers is carried out, then less soil is needed compared to other petunias.
- It easily tolerates any negative weather conditions, such as wind, heat and rain.
- It has a rather strong and sweet aroma.
- Easily fits into hanging decorative vases (planters) or balcony boxes.
The disadvantages include only one factor - a lot of seeds are required to set the Taydal petunia. This fact can negatively affect the quality of flowering. But if you take proper care of the plant, then this flaw will not be noticeable.
