The best varieties of Pavlovsky grapes

Many gardeners are happy to plant various grape varieties on their plots, selecting the best, cultivating and selecting the most suitable in terms of yield, endurance and taste. Among them, the famous breeder stands out, thanks to whose enthusiasm and hard work more than fifty varieties have appeared.

Breeder Pavlovsky has bred about 50 grape varieties, including Rochefort

Breeder Pavlovsky

Evgeny Georgievich Pavlovsky is one of the most successful and talented breeders, who managed to present excellent viable varieties. A simple miner who, in his free time, was engaged in his personal plot, back in 1985, brought out the first copies that received many awards and prizes at international competitions and exhibitions. Many of them are successfully cultivated in various regions of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.

The collection is based on hybrids bred through painstaking selection and selection of the best qualities and properties. Among the unifying positive aspects are:

  • early maturity;
  • frost resistance;
  • high productivity;
  • attractive presentation of the bunches;
  • resistance to fungal diseases.

All gardeners note the excellent taste and sufficient sugar content, making the new plants bred by Pavlovsky irreplaceable on the land.

Breeder Care Recommendations

All varieties developed by E.G. Pavlovsky, are a novelty on the market, therefore, it is worth purchasing them for planting in special nurseries with seedlings, having previously studied the features of the species so that it meets all expectations.

Almost all of them are adapted for planting in spring and autumn, require protection from cold winds, but winter well due to their excellent frost resistance. The land for planting must be prepared, taking into account the standard requirements for any grape, do not plant immediately after the old bush, allowing the soil to rest for several years.

Optimal care conditions

Like any fruiting plant, grapes require a sufficient amount of moisture, so regular full watering, especially on hot dry days, will have a beneficial effect on the amount of the harvested crop.

E.G. himself Pavlovsky recommends at least sometimes feeding the bushes with humus, potash or phosphate fertilizers, be sure to mulch the ground around for the best supply of nutrients to the root system. For this, blackened sawdust, poured into a layer of 3 centimeters, is useful.

An important necessary step is a high-quality thoughtful pruning of the bush, which affects its ability to bear fruit well. By reducing the unnecessary number of stepchildren, you can direct nutrients to the fruit, as well as form a clear, neat shape.

With the onset of cold weather, grapes need shelter, especially if the growing area is characterized by winters with an average temperature of about 20 degrees below zero. Young seedlings are insulated with specially prepared tubs, clean plastic containers from under the water, and covered with earth. Adult fruiting bushes are covered with a film, trying to leave a little air space.

Carmen grapes and other Pavlovsky varieties should be carefully wrapped for the winter.

Features of the selection of cuttings for planting

The laying of a generous harvest begins with a leisurely choice of cuttings, compliance with all conditions for planting in the ground, and high-quality care for it. Experienced growers themselves get the material on their site. And when choosing in a nursery or on the market, you need to consider the following points:

  • the seedling must have a developed root system;
  • the roots should be whitish, and the cut should be green;
  • there should be at least three buds on the handle.

Before planting, they should be pre-prepared by soaking in a special solution for a day.

The famous breeder constantly pleases fans with new hybrids with improved qualities, but it is worth mentioning in detail the varieties that have already proven themselves and have received high consumer ratings in recent years.

The grape seedling must have a healthy and attractive appearance.

"Ali Baba": nutmeg dessert

Obtained as a result of crossing popular unpretentious varieties, this hybrid species immediately fell in love with its delicate harmonious taste with pleasant nutmeg notes. Thanks to its amazing persistence and yield, many industrial vineyards have chosen it as the main one.

It pleasantly amazes its owners with luxurious brushes weighing up to 800 grams with densely spaced large berries. They have an excellent presentation, in addition to a beautiful dark red color, attracting a light aroma, delicate rich taste. Under a thin shell, imperceptible on the tongue, a rather dense fleshy pulp is hidden.

Among the undoubted positive aspects of "Ali Baba", noted by gardeners, the most important when growing are called:

  • short ripening period;
  • high yield and quality berries;
  • the presence of flowers of each sex on the vines;
  • resistance to disease and frost up to 23 degrees.

This species perfectly reproduces by cuttings, which have excellent adaptive properties in new conditions. They grow rather quickly, giving good rich harvests in a few years. The vegetative period declared by the breeder is about 100 days, depending on weather conditions and the amount of sunlight.

A pleasant feature of "Ali Baba" is the ability of young stepchildren to bear fruit, although they produce clusters of less abundant weight, which ripen later than on the main lashes. Even from a green stepson, up to 4 kilograms of quality grapes can be harvested.

Among the negative aspects of this specimen, the owners note that the strong density of the berries on the grove prevents them from forming the oval shape characteristic of the variety. Although young branches bear fruit, they strongly take up the nutritious juices of the main part of the bush, requiring increased care and feeding. Therefore, in the spring, there is always a dilemma: to leave or harvest new growth in order to get a high quality harvest.

Delicate table "Zephyr"

Very popular among gardeners is the wonderful taste and quality table grape variety "Zephyr", bred by Pavlovsky breeding method on the basis of frost-resistant "Talisman". It is also characterized by the presence of bisexual flowers that solve the problem of pollination, excellent adaptability to changeable weather, suitable for non-hot regions of central regions of Russia.

This is an early ripening, early-ripening hybrid form, characterized by large heavy bunches, the berries on which reach an average of 14 grams. For "Zephyr" is characterized by a very beautiful red color with a slight purple tint, shimmering in the sun. On average, one brush reaches 600 grams, but with persistent warm weather and enhanced feeding, you can get more than a kilogram. Large mouth-watering berries are densely arranged, not having the property of peas, and their taste is very sweet and unobtrusive.

"Zephyr" has an interesting distinctive feature: despite the early maturity, a fully ripe crop can not be harvested until the very frost. It is perfectly stored on the sleeves without losing the taste and visual commercial qualities, allowing you to shoot a small amount every day without cutting off the rest of the brushes. And the large number of bunches makes it a very profitable acquisition for a small plot of land.

Rostov "Ayuta"

A wonderful hybrid variety, named Pavlovsky in honor of the river flowing near Rostov, appeared on the market in 2012 and immediately liked the fans of early table species breeding. It is distinguished by a pleasant aftertaste with a hint of tea rose, which remains in the mouth after the firm pulp. One of the most popular in the collection of the famous selector, Ayuta grapes have many advantages for gardeners:

  • the crunch characteristic of this type when biting;
  • normal resistance to cold weather;
  • resistance to rot, diseases and pests;
  • early aging;
  • the stems on the vine are always of both sexes.

Bunches of "Ayuta" have a good presentation, attracting large purple berries, lying tightly on a massive bunch weighing up to a kilogram. They fully ripen by August, and can remain on lashes until the first frost, without bursting or losing their sweet delicate taste. And the dense shell allows you to transport it to the place of sale without special precautions.

This specimen does not require special additional care, constant loosening, calmly referring to a slight lack of moisture, poor soil condition, is not susceptible to various types of decay, damage by pests and insects. And good resistance to freezing made "Ayuta" a gift for gardeners from regions with a cool climate.

Amber "Monarch"

Delicious and beautiful table variety "Monarch", obtained by Pavlovsky as a result of many years of selection, belongs to the early ripening time. Depending on the climatic characteristics of the region, the harvest can be obtained already in mid-August, and the average growing season is no more than four months.

This specimen is characterized by a fairly good yield, the ability to collect brushes up to one kilogram. Large, resilient berries have an even conical shape, slightly resembling medium-sized plums. In the sunlight, they play with amber shades, with a slight redness.

The pulp is juicy and fleshy, with a pronounced nutmeg taste, and a small amount of seeds. The berries do not crumple during transportation, are well stored and are liked by customers for their appetizing appearance.

The indisputable advantages of "Monarch" are:

  • excellent taste and sweetness, regardless of the vagaries of the weather;
  • the same size of berries;
  • good performance in grafting and transplanting;
  • excellent frost resistance up to 25 degrees.

It is quite possible to collect about 7 kilograms of delicious fruits from one adult plant. But this species has an increased vigor of growth, increasing by a third over the season due to the growth of greenery and stepchildren, therefore it needs pruning and thinning of the leaves. But the presence of female and male flowers on the bush simplifies the owner's task of pollination.

The only problem with the "Monarch" is the large amount of drooping ovary during the flowering period, even under the most favorable conditions. But the remaining inflorescences do the job quite well, turning into large, heavy clusters.

Monarch grapes are distinguished by large berries

Golden "Ozone"

Despite the absolutely identical source material with "Ali Baba", E.G. Pavlovsky managed to get absolutely different hybrid grapes, noticeably different in shape and properties.

Fragrant and juicy "Ozone" surprises the owners with generous clusters up to 1.5 kilograms, on which golden cylindrical-conical grapes are grouped. Despite their simple nutmeg taste, they are very juicy, sweet and contain many beneficial substances.

Productivity of "Ozone" is quite stable, but it needs correction of greenery and ovary in spring in order not to get a lot of small berries.The period of full ripening is equal to 105 days, allowing you to feast on a natural dessert in early August. He, like Ali Baba, is not afraid of freezing on the soil, ideally adapting to the conditions of the middle zone.

This is a wonderful tasty specimen, the only drawback of which is its youth. It was bred in 2012 and has not been sufficiently studied, therefore, it can give unpredictable results in new conditions.

Delicate "Romeo"

An interesting hybrid with the usual smooth taste is the table variety "Romeo", belonging to the late species, ripening by the beginning of autumn. Quite unpretentious to weather conditions and temperature, it quickly takes root, grows intensively, forming luxurious clusters of about one kilogram. However, in cool weather, the weight may be slightly less.

Delicate lilac berries on the brush are always nipple-shaped with an unusual shape, but the thin skin is easily damaged, making it difficult to transport the crop. Therefore, it is not recommended to grow it for sale.

Distinctive characteristics of "Romeo" are called:

  • very good harvest from one bush;
  • stable resistance to diseases affecting grapes;
  • the presence of flowers of different sex;
  • frost resistance and adaptability.

"Romeo" is a worthy hybrid for home breeding, capable of providing for the whole family from one adult bush.

Sweet "Pretty Woman"

Another hybrid form, proposed by Pavlovsky, was bred by mixing pollen from gentle European and resistant Amur vines. The resulting tall, massive bush turned out to be above average among similar ones, but it ripens perfectly, giving a delicious harvest in early August.

Grony "Krasotka" cannot offer a record weight, being limited to a neat brush of 700 grams, giving attractive dark pink berries of a small size with a nutmeg aftertaste and a characteristic purple tip for this variety.

On the positive side of "Pretty Woman" - its resistance to frost and rapid aging, ideal for areas with a short summer period. And the disadvantages are its poorly studied due to its youth, which does not give a full-fledged research material on the level of resistance to some diseases characteristic of grapes. Therefore, the bush requires very close care and monitoring of health, a quick response to any manifestations of rot or mildew.

Graceful "Juliet"

Many winegrowers often buy Juliet with Romeo, which look perfect and complement each other in taste and flavor. Despite the different basis taken by E.G. Pavlovsky for selection, they ripen and are filled with juice at the same time.

"Juliet" is a vigorous, low plant, on which small brushes up to 500 grams grow with a very delicate flavor that gives off nutmeg. Large sweet grapes of a beautiful yellow-green hue with a lot of sugar are formed on a small grove.

This vine tends to lose productivity when the bush is overloaded with brushes, therefore, it requires mandatory thinning during the period of ejection of peduncles. If this is not done, high yields will interfere with the creation of a rich shade of nutmeg and produce tasteless bland berries.

New interesting Pavlovsky hybrids

The breeder, continuing to cooperate with many well-known colleagues from different countries, is constantly improving his work, releasing new forms for reproduction, most of which are immediately to the taste of gardeners:

  • "Carmen": a novelty with a short ripening period, distinguished by luxurious clusters of dark deep blue color, with large oval grapes. The standard taste of Carmen is complemented by a special combination of natural sugars and acids.The plant is quite resistant to winter cold, confidently gaining popularity in the middle zone of the country.
  • "Rochefort": arouses genuine interest among gardeners for the opportunity to grow bunches of stunning size, reaching 4 kilograms in good weather. When ripe, the grapes turn blue, as they become saturated with sweetness, they become an unusual almost black color. The variety has successfully passed cold tests and diseases typical of grapes.
  • "Hip-Hop": behind a frivolous name hides a very promising hybrid novelty from Pavlovsky, ripening early and presenting delicious juicy grapes with a yellowish tinge. Large agricultural producers are seriously interested in Hip Hop for its fleshy flesh, thin strong peel, easily tolerated transportation, and the possibility of rapid propagation by cuttings.

Considering the great variety of grape varieties obtained by the talented hands of E.G. Pavlovsky, the list is endless. But many of them have in common, appearing on the basis of the same mother bush by green grafting.

Most of them have already passed some testing, including the ability to survive the cold, withstand gray rot or leaf pests, but the latter still require attention and special conditions for obtaining a full harvest.

What the breeder recommends

All varieties of Evgeny Pavlovsky on the market are new, which is why it is better to buy them in order to plant your vineyard in special nurseries. But before purchasing grape roots of any variety of this breeder, carefully study the information regarding this or that type of berry. A vine grower is the best place to buy Pavlovsky grape seedlings.

New hybrid forms of selection by Evgeny Pavlovsky and the best novelties of 2015.

Grapes Pavlovsky E G / Grapes Pawlowski

New Hybrid forms of grapes E.G. Pavlovsky.

Almost every type of plant is adapted for planting in the spring and autumn, needs protection from the cold wind flow, but at the same time they have good resistance to frost. The plot of the future vineyard is prepared according to the standard requirements for any other grape. In places where other varieties of these berries "lived", it is not recommended to plant new seedlings. Give the land a "rest" and only after a couple of years you can plant grape seedlings on it again.

How to choose the right stalk for planting

A generous harvest that a good grower gives begins with a careful selection of grape cuttings, compliance with the conditions for planting them in soil and high-quality care for them. Those people for whom grapes are a source of income and a work of life independently grow cuttings of this plant.

When choosing new grape seedlings on the market or nursery, you should adhere to several nuances:

  • the rhizomes of the cuttings should have a whitish color, and the cut should be green;
  • root system - has many branches;
  • new cuttings should have at least three buds.

Before planting seedlings of plants in the vineyard, they must first be prepared by soaking them in a special solution for 24 hours.

Reviews of people who planted Pavlovsky grapes on their land plots indicate that these berries are worthy of both the attention demanded to themselves and world recognition!

We wish you success and good mood!

I arrived early, practically together with Superekstroy. I, already taught by experience, do not leave her grones for viewing - it will not hang, it will crackle, and Ali Baba's gronkas have been left, because the first harvest, they are still hanging, are already withering (maybe I will bring raisins to Yalta), the harvest is ripening on the stepsons ... The berry is quite large, 9-12g, dense, fleshy, tasty, even with light nutmeg 3-4 days after ripening. I didn't feel the nutmeg today - well, too sweet. The skin is invisible. We'll see how he will show himself, but first impressions are only positive.

Baikonur

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

As for GF Baikonur, here the most reliable information was on the site of the author. Honestly, it is very difficult to surprise me with any of the new products, but Evgeny Georgievich succeeded. For a very long time I circled around the bush with the first fruiting of the Baikonur GF, photographed the load, and compared the clusters themselves and the size of the berries ... Of course, next season there will already be many photographs of other GF Baikonur owners, there will be something to compare with ...

This grape does not need additional advertising, it will speak for itself and show, I think. The vine ripened well on grafts, to the very tips. Disease resistance is normal on our site. If everything goes well next season, then we'll see for ourselves.

Grezin Sergey, Kursk region

the shape is actually interesting, at the end of July it was ripe (the seeds are brown, the Rochefort growing nearby was still green). Baikonur seems to be a marketable grape. What are the other commercial dark-colored forms with such ripening? We calmly brought it from Evgeny Georgievich, a thousand kilometers away, not a single berry fell off, it lay in the refrigerator for more than a month

Criulya Sergey Lugansk

I have been observing the hybrid form 9-1, the current name is Baikonur, for the second year. Last year, the harvest was on the seedling. This year I compared the results of fruiting on a seedling and on a grafted bush, the results are close, on a more powerful grafted bush the berries are larger. It keeps very well on the bushes, ripened at the end of July, and I removed the bunch on August 17, and the next day after a heavy downpour - no changes. I think that a couple of left bunches will survive safely until the festival in Yalta. The berry at Baikonur is violet-red with a dark blue, almost black tint. One of the best new products I've seen in recent years.

I don’t understand anything this season what is happening with the GF selection of Pavlovsky E.G. : Billy's GF has not yet matured on our site ... Most likely this will serve as the final decision for her removal from the vineyard: no profit! The shape is outwardly beautiful, the vine ripens early, is resistant to diseases, but no decent taste (still sour) and not at all attractive in appearance. This grape has been tested in our vineyard for 5 years. At the moment, in order to conquer the market for marketable grapes, the bunches must be elegant with a large berry of warm pink color and at least elementary sweet in taste ... Alas, this is not about GF Billy:

A rooted three-year-old bush is simply a monster in terms of growth strength ... I can barely hold it on the trellis at the 3 m allocated for it. I constantly have to remove my stepchildren, which can grow in 3-5 days. I'm just spinning around this bush

Disease resistance in this season at the level of 3.5-4.0 points. Additional treatments were required. But it's not so scary ... It's a pity for the wasted time: the harvest in the second year of fruiting for such a huge bush is only about 2 kg. berries, they can't even be called bunches ...

I marked myself (after the first rain-trash))

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

For some reason, GF Bukhara lags behind Arcadia in terms of maturation this season. Usually she was even ahead, but this year is generally some kind of abnormal whole ... The taste is gaining, but weak. There is not yet that bright floral scent that we felt in its first years.
But on the other hand - from where? If we have already the second morning the temperature starts from +7 ... The pulp is just as firm and juicy, the skin is not felt when eating:

In our vineyard, GF Bukhara behaves normally this season as well. True, we have not seen rain since May ... The pulp is juicy, the skin has become slightly dense from the heat, and when the berries are overripe, the floral light nutmeg quickly leaves.

Today I could not resist and took photographs of the self-rooted five-year-old bush GF Juliet. Indeed, these grapes are impressive! Very even pollination, beautiful and elegant clusters. The bush just easily copes with the load: the berry is large and hard ... But now they will ripen only not soon ... Usually at the end of August we already cut it for sale ...

It grows in the south at the end of August, the berry is large, the clusters seem to be not scanty, the resistance to diseases is not bad. Taste, I still do not understand, simple or harmonious.

This year there was a signal fruiting GF GERMAN. On four vines there were 3 brushes, not less than 1.5 kg each (not weighed). I had to shorten each brush as was planted in the spring of 2011 as a vegetative seedling. The growth of the bush is very strong. In vain I shortened my brushes.
The berry is dense, harmonious taste with fruity tones. Everyone who tried it did not remain indifferent. Even a little granddaughter first of all led to Herman's bush (although there are others no less tasty in the vineyard). The second harvest was given by the stepchildren, which had time to ripen. The berry was smaller, but this did not affect the taste.

Lykov Yury Dmitrievich, Krasnodar Territory
Herman - two years of testing are over. The shape is not bad, but I will not have it. Nothing special stands out, there are many of them. 7 forms are grafted on this bush. All bear fruit. So if you step back 2-3 meters and see - everything is about the same, but Velika and Kn. Odga stand out against the background of this mass.

Adorable, Hip Hop

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

according to my personal observations on our site GF Prelest and GF Hip-hop are different grapes.

GF Prelest matures earlier than GF Hip-hop by about 7-10 days.

Yes, they have FZHTC and a pronounced nutmeg in their taste - this is common, but no more. The pulp of the GF is a little watery, but the GF Hip-Hop is firm and juicy at the same time.

The shape of the berries is also slightly different: for GF Prelest is closer to oval, but for GF Hip-hop it is ovoid, more narrowed towards the tip.

Yes, I do not like similar GFs, no matter whose selection they are ... But here I am attracted simply by the equally exciting nutmeg, so both forms remain in the vineyard. Their main difference is in the consistency of the pulp of berries, I think so

Zolotukhin Vyacheslav Vladimirovich, Konstantinovka, Donetsk region

Apparently the charm of G.F. The beauty lies in the lovely nutmeg. Well, I really liked the taste. Hangs well and does not crack after rains, the flesh is dense. Pollination is lame, on some clusters there are quite a lot of peas. Can be attributed to bad weather during flowering.

Liplyavka Elena Petrovna, Rostov region

We started trying Hip-hop a couple of weeks ago. The pulp has become a little thinner compared to last year and the nutmeg is still very light. But the shape is beautiful, tall, does not get sick. I introduced another bush.

The size and weight of GF Gesha's berries are about the same as for GF Effect, but they are inferior to GF Senya berries. And the bunches of Senya GF will be clearly larger. Here, indeed, the weight of the bunch is the smallest at GF Gesha, but the grapes win with their unique taste: very sweet with bright nutmeg with a hint of caramel. The berries are raisin and very tasty after that.

This season Pavlovsky E.G. decided to take a tough approach to the selection of his forms in order to no longer allow the release of similar ones: Atlantic - Olympic, Hip-Hop - Lovely ... Here is Gesha with Effect ...

Criulya Sergey Lugansk

The effect is interesting for the northern regions, in the south only for the collection, but rather weak for the market.

Uglov Vladimir Samara

Very interesting. Delicious. Decent bunches. First fruiting: 2 signaling for the 2nd year, 700g each. large berries (8-10g) are on the sand without any fertilizers. Does not get sick and does not need chemical treatments. Has a sugar content of 19-20 brix. It ripens early and can please with the harvest on stepchildren. Zhenya Pavlovsky advised me to plant this hybrid form.

Liplyavka Elena Petrovna, Rostov region

So far, Gesha's complete disappointment ... 2 years, very strong peas on our site. It grows on the leeward side of a number of raisins. Disease resistance is really high, but in the first year of vaccination everything was terrible - the berries burst and some of them rotted. This season there were no such problems , the bush and clusters were clean and the berries were intact. I really liked the taste, the dense pulp with a pleasant nutmeg. That is why we decided to leave this GF for another year, we will try to do additional pollination, although I am categorically against such dances ... no more than 200g, and the shoots were raging, so they loaded as much as they could.

Hotabych

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

GF Hottabych (Talisman x K-81) ripens at the end of August and the bunches can hang for a very long time without losing their presentation (the grapes themselves are very good when selling seedlings: it hangs easily until October and is not affected by wasps at all) and, at the same time, retains its taste (simple, harmonious, firm, juicy flesh with crunch). Vigorous bush, with very early ripening of the vine. It can be perfect for the formation of arbors, because it is not overloaded with the harvest at all and it does not need to be rationed. The bunch, of course, is rather dense, but there were never any rotten berries inside them.

The form is very resistant to diseases: I practically did not see any signs for all the years.

It is not suitable for a marketable vineyard. But just for myself - just right! The main thing is not being capricious.

Oleg Astaev, Stavropol Territory

The hybrid form of Hottabych has been growing on my site since 2007. The bushes are vigorous, but starts poorly and the buds open late. The berry is rather large, beautiful, pink in color with a bluish bloom, with a decent sugar accumulation, crunchy melting taste. The fruiting rate is low and varies with an annual interval. 2011 was fruitful and pleasing to the eye with huge, up to a pound and a half with tassels, and there was nothing to look at. Resistance to diseases is average, the berry does not crack, it is not affected by gray rot. I also want to note one feature - the bushes of the hybrid thicken strongly, forming an incredible number of stepchildren, and the vine often bifurcates forming spears, unsuitable for obtaining planting material. I think to continue testing, but it is already clear that the hybrid is purely amateur, without any claims to widespread distribution.

Gingerbread man

Eliseeva Elena Ordzhonikidze, Dnepropetrovsk region

We have Kolobok's first fruiting. I was in time before everyone else, perhaps. The berry was 9-11g, very dense and crispy. It hung for a long time. In the nets - even until last week, some of the berries were sparkling, and some were perfectly preserved and the nutmeg was preserved in taste, on the contrary - it was concentrated. It seemed to me more nutmeg than in July.

Zolotukhin Vyacheslav Vladimirovich, Konstantinovka, Donetsk region

I have already removed the Kolobok. The reason is the smallish berry and strong astringency in the taste along with nutmeg. Over time, nutmeg disappears, and astringency and a lot of sugar remain. And so, of course, it hangs well and for a long time, after the rains it does not burst, plus very early ripening.

I had my first fruiting. You can note the good taste and the fact that the berries did not crack after the rains. The bush is 2 years old, grafted on Ferkal.

WITHErgey Criulya Lugansk

My Maestro bore fruit for three years, the grapes are quite beautiful. taste is decent and persistence. But for three years there were no bunches of more than 500 g, and there were not so many. Pavlovsky with a white berry: Patrick, Ozon, Sponsor, Khutork, Producer.

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

I have been observing the GF Maestro (Talisman x Hybrid-41) in a rooted version for 7 years already. There were a few bushes at the beginning ... There is only one at the moment. I will not somehow compare it with other white-berry grapes of Pavlovsky's selection. Because they are all with different ripening periods, but for me they are already “different weight categories”. GF Maestro ripens on August 20-25, the berry is round, closer to oval, weight up to 15 grams. I have not seen large bunches in all the years: maximum 600 gr. ... The form is trying to be productive: it lays 4 inflorescences on the shoot, but they are not large. Last season, she surprised me a lot: on strong shoots, I did not normalize the load, so they all 4 bloomed at the same time on the shoot!
This grape has no problems with diseases, it is stable. Excellent maturation of the vine to the very tips. Cuttings take root almost 100%. I keep the last bush purely for myself: I like the juicy firm pulp of these berries with a simple grape aroma. The bunches hang for a long time, without losing their appearance and taste, but only gaining sugar.

Lelik

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

with GF Lelik everything seemed to be fine: both the early ripening period, and the berry is more or less large, and the resistance to diseases is good, and the ripening of the vine is not bad ... I observed one drawback for three years on our site: not simultaneous ripening of berries in a bunch. This can be clearly seen in the photograph. Some berries can already be raisinized in the middle or at the bottom of the grove, while others are still completely green and sour ... You cannot sell such grapes, you can only walk and pinch ... But wasps and flies can help very actively ... in eating the crop.

Perhaps this grape behaves this way only in our vineyard ... I don't know. This is a personal opinion and decision. If someone has other results, then I will only be glad of this. The GF Lelik bush is rooted, powerful and can be restored at any time. But while he helps to understand and observe his "brothers": GF Senya and GF Gesha ...

Muscat Novoshakhtinsky

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

GF Muscat Novoshakhtinsky on our site is. The form is interesting to me for its taste: a chic, pronounced nutmeg, a long aftertaste in the mouth. The form shows good disease resistance for the second season. The vine ripens early. On the shoot, 3-4 bunches are tied, so it is necessary to ration. The berry is too small for us: 5-6 grams, the weight of a bunch is 250-400 grams ... In the Kuban, large-berry grapes are more respected.

It ripened very early, the berry with a bright memorable nutmeg, there were no problems with diseases, the vine ripened early and along its entire length, it is prone to overload: it is necessary to ration, fruitful

I personally tried it at the Eliseevs (Dnipropetrovsk region. Ordzhenikidze) The pulp is liquid, the nutmeg is very interesting, simply gorgeous and very early ripening.

this grape is already being tested on our site. The buds were grafted onto the Olympic bush and gave good growth. Ripening of the vine is excellent with no signs of disease. The form is fruitful: all the shoots had 3-4 inflorescences, plus the bunches ripened on the stepchildren of these grafts until autumn. The weight of the main Sinhalese vaccine is about a kilogram. I also want to acquaint you with one novelty of the selection of Pavlovsky E.G. , which in my opinion has a perspective ... This is GF under the number B-15-5, so far without a name. This grape, like the GF Baikonur, also impressed me: a very beautiful yellow berry transparent in the sun catches my eye. Persia Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

I've just been growing GF Persia for many years, believe my experience: the taste of these berries is far from simple. Why fruity? Because in each season different shades can be traced. For example, last year, black currant was very clearly audible in taste, but this year, due to the heat and very early summer, the ripening period has changed and most likely the aroma did not have time to ripen in the berries. Therefore, it seemed to me that the taste most of all reminded me of tropical notes ... kiwi. Something like that …

Labanov Victor Nikolaevich, Stavropol Territory

This is how Persia is now (16.08.2012). The taste is interesting, there is enough sugar - the buyer should like it. Despite the rains, the berry is normal, so the form promises to be quite marketable.

The charm Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

according to my personal observations on our site GF Prelest and GF Hip-hop are different grapes.

Pollination is lame, on some bunches there are quite a lot of peas. Can be attributed to bad weather during flowering.

((Victoria x Super Extra) - very early ripening period 100-110 days, bisexual. Vigorous, large bunch 500-1000 grams. Berry very large 7-10 grams, oval, pink in color. Pleasant taste with nutmeg aroma, Very fruitful, requires harvest rationing. Resistance to mildew and powdery mildew 2.5 points. Frost resistance up to -25 degrees.) -description from the book.

I marked myself - a berry of 6-8 grams, the taste is rich, pleasant with nutmeg. The peel is eaten, the flesh is fleshy, crunching is heard when biting. On August 1, sugar is 20 brix, it begins to raze, there are 2-3 small seeds in the berry. The bunch is loose, the berry is firmly attached to the ridge, does not crumble during transportation.

It will be interesting for the northern regions (probably).

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

But about GF Prima, I don't have such enthusiasm: the berry is too small ... not marketable (in the two remaining photographs: a bunch and a bush under load in Pavlovsky's vineyard in Dar'evka). Has a bisexual flower type. The declared frost resistance is -25 C. According to the description of the form by the author, Prima is vigorous. But I didn't think so when I saw a bush in Dar'evka. This grape has potential, I agree. But it will be better welcomed in the northern regions, as possesses increased resistance to diseases, good maturity of the vine, very early ripening

Ramsay Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

Today I held the last photo session for the bush GF Ramsay. Based on the results of three years of observation, I made a conclusion for myself: the form clearly does not differ in the strength of growth on our site, the yield is weak ... there are two clusters per shoot, but they are very small ... up to 300 grams. maximum, no more. Berries weight 5-7 gr.Here the vine ripens early and for the entire length of the shoot. The form is very resistant to disease. But the appearance of the bunches and the size of the berries with a mediocre taste: simple, harmonious, with sourness, do not give enthusiasm for further observation of these grapes. Outwardly, the berries look quite beautiful at the moment, but they will still weigh a couple of weeks before they are fully ripe. This grape will be edible at the same time as the Talisman.

I also saw GF Senator on the Pavlovsky site in Darievka: with a much lower load on the bush, the berries were clearly green at the end of July. Taste? ... about nothing ... Real nutmeg appeared in our vineyard only by the end of August in this grape.

GF Senator (Gift from Zaporizhzhia x Maradona) is in our vineyard, but there are no special impressions.

Ripens by the end of summer, I haven't seen very large bunches yet. Berry 8-12 gr. , the pulp is dense with a chic nutmeg. The taste is true - exquisite! That is, that is ... The crop hangs on the bushes for a long time, even now. Wasp was practically not damaged. The skin is firm but torn easily. There were no signs of illness.

Confuses only one thing: color. For its ripening period, a lot of grapes with a dark red berry color are obtained. It is very difficult to single out GF Senator among this variety until you try ...

GF Inspiration, Rose Nesvetaya

Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

GF Inspiration, Rosa Nesvetaya of one parental couple (Talisman x Tason), I can not say anything at all: they were not on our site.

From what I saw in Pavlovsky's vineyard, a personal opinion was formed: the forms are small-berry for the South, the color is not entirely attractive, there will be no commodity demand.

the best varieties of Pavlovsky grapes

Senya Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

GF shows itself on our site in terms of disease resistance and vine ripening just fine. No problem! But, it is true, with standard treatments ... I do not take risks and always take preventive measures for grapes on time.

At the moment, the stepchild's harvest has already ripened on the bush (2 bunches per stepson easily pulls not to the detriment of the ripening of the shoots and the growth of the bush). The sugar content in these berries is 26% brix. Almost the same amount of sugar in the berries is still the main fruiting. It was left purely for control: it did not lose marketability for a long time, sugar did not disappear after a long stay on the bush, the color of the berries did not change, but only rose up and did not crumble.

With all this positive, I will also reduce Senya's GF from the site: I will leave one bush for further observations. Reason: a small berry for the South, not for sale ...

Grezin Sergey, Kursk region

Senya is unstable, in the field on it, on the first, mildew and oidium appeared (there were no treatments, others were clean). In Orel, several people, on the Seine, had mildew (one of the very first).

Senya - by the beginning of August at Pavlovsky's house he was raving (perespell).

The berry is dark red (ripe cherry), weighing 6-9 grams, round. It holds very tightly on the comb, it comes off with effort. The flesh is firm, crunchy, the taste is rich, full-bodied, with some tones (fruity or floral): unknown:, the nutmeg is light, distant. The peel is torn, attention is not focused. The seeds are small (there are 1 in the berry).

A bunch without peas, loose, weight 500-1000 grams. Transportable, the berry does not choke. The vine ripens very well

Elena Petrovna Liplyavka, Rostov region

GF Senya shows very good resistance to diseases, the ability to load, which it carries easily, without reducing the strength of growth. The berries began to turn pink early, quickly gained sugar. It was possible to eat already a week ago. The bunches are all uniform, for 1-1.5 kg. The berry is within 6-8 g. The structure of the bunch is dense, which at first slightly alarmed, but after a heavy shower of hail I calmed down - there are no bursting and rotten berries. But there is a moment that strains a little - the color does not pick up pink, remains somehow uncertain , dirty, or something ... But in general, I'm still satisfied with the form.

Anniversary 50 (Gift to Zaporozhye x (Kesha-1 x Cardinal))

Photo by Fursa Irina Ivanovna, Krasnodar Territory

Today I want to present you a new GF Anniversary - 50 (Gift to Zaporozhye x (Kesha-1 x Cardinal)).

This is the second full-fledged fruiting in our area. The form is grafted onto a Charlie bush. Already grafted in the first year, it showed itself as a high-yielding form of grapes. In the second year, I decided to test it under load right away. There were 3-4 inflorescences on the shoots, left in two. The pollination was even, the clusters were dense, as in this year, but the ripening period was delayed and astringency was felt in the taste.

There were no problems with diseases for 3 years of follow-up. Stated ripening period: early-medium, about 20 August. At the moment, the grapes are not yet fully ripe.

This season, I have strictly normalized the inflorescences on the shoots. Again, the bunches turned out to be very dense, which I no longer like. There are no large berries: 7-9 gr. , the taste is simple, the flesh is firm, but not firm.

It ripens in the Kuban at the end of August, but, despite the very dense bunches, it hung until frost without problems: the berries did not deteriorate and did not dry out, the presentation was worthy. The taste has remained simple and harmonious, as at the time of the ripening of the crop. The bunches were stable within a kilogram. The form is very productive, requiring rationing, with good maturation of the vine. Oval berries, within 10 gr. , dark red

Kursk region

Anniversary 50 (signal fruiting) did not crack, rot did not damage, there were signaling that touched the ground. It hung clean before frost.

I really would like to mention the strength and strength of growth. Cons: endless stepchildren's harvest, dense berry. I don't like the color. I bought it as a large-fruited pink-colored hybrid. Well, it looks like what the typographic dudes have painted in the brochure? somehow. But in this condition it is simply not edible. Do you see how a green one comes across among the colored berries? This is a minus. You may not try. And it is so clear that the grapes are still green. That is, having pinched off the berry, you will not reach for it yet.

I'm not happy with this variety. Last year, the leaf was affected by mildew, although the year was very rainy (rainfall was 4 times more than normal in August and September). This year was the first signaling. I left 2 clusters of 650 grams each. The bunches are cylindrical in shape, very dense, the berries began to burst. Wasps flew in and when I arrived a week later there was nothing to stay. We'll have to get rid of this variety.

Eliseeva Elena Ordzhonikidze, Dnepropetrovsk region

First fruiting. The appearance is good, judge for yourself:

Has ripened this year before the Talisman, the taste is harmonious, no frills, sugar accumulation is satisfactory, the pulp is dense.

The color of the berries is bright, hung on the bush for about 2 weeks without changing color. After the first downpour (80mm per day), one sash crackled, the second hung intact. After the second (120mm, after 4 days) the second one crackled too. We cannot judge the yield yet, the bush did not winter very well ..., it was practically moving away from the base, we were glad to see at least something.

I saw him at the Eliseevs' vineyard (Ordzhenikidze, Dnipropetrovsk region) - the bunch seemed to be normal, but on August 3 it was not ready yet. Not early is shorter.

I also really liked Zarya Nesvetaya (one of the best in taste, maybe the best for me. We are planting a vineyard, and we look very closely at the forms. We will plant dozens of bushes at dawn.

I wrote it down for myself. -

“Zarya Nesvetaya is a very early form (in Pavlovsky, overripe at the end of July). Berry 7-8 grams, overripe cherry color. The pulp is dense, crunches and melts in the mouth, the skin is torn, does not focus attention. The taste is very rich, different fruit tones, with a very pleasant nutmeg (I want to eat more and more). Sugar about 20 Brix.

The bunch is not dense, individual bunches weighing up to one and a half kilograms. (The lack of the berry does not firmly hold on to the ridge (I got it on the bunch).

Advantages -Very high taste (I would give the highest tasting assessment) The bunch is loose, beautiful, without peas. The berry is dense, does not choke.

Eliseeva Elena Ordzhonikidze, Dnepropetrovsk region

The first combinations of crossing were: Talisman x Nistru, Victoria x a mixture of pollen of European-Amur forms. In the first combination, hybrid forms of the Memory of the Surgeon, Orchid, were obtained, in the second - Pretty Woman, Veronica and others. The advantage of the new hybrid forms is the preservation of resistance to fungal diseases, frost at the level of the parental forms.

The attention of amateurs and manufacturers can be attracted by the hybrid forms of Rochefort, Super Extra. The undoubted success of E.G. Pavlovsky can be considered the Monarch table form, the berries of which reach 30 g.

He tested more than 50 grape varieties on the site. The basis of the assortment is currently the varieties Arcadia, Talisman, Laura, Nadezhda AZOS, Timur and others.

Evgeny Georgievich mastered all the methods of green grafting, which he uses both for re-grafting of adult bushes and for growing grafted seedlings. At the same time, the task of collecting information on the behavior of new hybrid forms on known and new rootstocks PP 101-14, Kober 5 BB, CO4, Ferkal is being solved. He tried himself in growing industrial batches (up to 10 thousand) of own-rooted seedlings of varieties tolerant to phylloxera. It can grow up to 2 thousand grafted new and scarce grape varieties on order.
