How to wash jeans correctly: hand and machine wash, instructions and tips

Selecting a washing mode

The product label usually indicates the allowed washing parameters, for which you need to select the washing machine program. The main designations regulate the water temperature, washing time, and the number of revolutions during spinning.

Modern models of machines have acquired a new mode "Jeans", and its presence makes it easier to wash denim items. But this mode is ideal only for standard products without complicated decor. It is not designed for laces, scuffs, holes and other manifestations of design ideas.

In such cases, it is necessary to use the "Hand wash" modes, in which the drum makes incomplete revolutions, gently shaking the loaded items, or "Delicate wash". Washing with one of these methods is guaranteed not to spoil the product.

For washing lightly soiled jeans, you can set the short cycle “Fast 30”. It will allow you to refresh the product without the risk of shrinkage and shedding.

The ideal temperature for washing denim trousers is 30-40 degrees. At a lower temperature, it will not be possible to wash off all the dirt, and a higher temperature can lead to a decrease in the size of the product in length and width.

Wringing jeans in the washing room the machine is allowed when the speed is set to no more than 800. In this case, the product will not undergo deformation. Jeans decorated with rips, laces and other accessories should not be wrung out, otherwise their appearance will noticeably deteriorate.

How many minutes to wash jeans? The standard program is designed for 1 hour. A quick wash takes about half an hour. Even shorter washings do not make sense as no dirt can be removed during this time.

After washing, the trousers must be carefully straightened, smoothing all the creases and seams with your hands, and leave until the water runs off. Then things can be hung to dry or laid out on a horizontal surface.

With a careful attitude and proper care, jeans can last a fairly long time. Good quality products are generally durable and paint resistant. But, even if the jeans have lost their original color or faded, they can be restored to their attractiveness with a new dyeing or decor. In any case, there will always be a place for good jeans in the wardrobe of a modern active person.

Washing jeans in a washing machine - step by step instructions

Advice: before purchasing a product, be sure to study the label on the clothes, where all information about the material and the rules of care will be written.

The instruction is as follows:

  • Before immersing your clothes in the drum of the washing machine, be sure to fasten zippers, buttons, buttons.
  • Make sure the pockets are empty.
  • Turn the jeans inside out, which will protect the material from intense shedding and the appearance of fabric deformations.

If the products are heavily soiled, then first they should be soaked for 30 minutes in warm water with powder. Also remember to wash dark and light-colored clothing separately. Many housewives are interested in what to wash jeans with, but there is one important recommendation here - try to wash denim separately from other things so as not to paint over them.

It is very important to choose the right detergent. First of all, choose powders or gels for colored laundry.

Read the composition of the powder carefully - if you do not want your favorite pants to fade, it should not contain enzymes, phosphates, or bleaches. If you are going to wash white items, choose a detergent for delicate clothes. Never use bleach when washing, as this can lead to yellowing of the fabric.

Next, put the jeans into the drum and select the appropriate mode. Some models of washing machines have a special mode for denim, if there is no such mode, turn on the "Hand wash" mode, which is delicate. You can also turn on the "Delicate wash" mode by setting the water temperature to no more than + 40 degrees. This will keep your favorite jacket from fading.

Do I have to wash my jeans after purchase?

It is recommended to wash any items only brought from the store, no matter how much they hang on the hanger. First, the fabric will soften and fit better. Secondly, many jeans are heavily dyed, that is, they leave blue stains on the underwear. Washing will help flush out residual paint and prevent this problem, however, you should select the correct mode on the panel of the washing machine.

In addition, there is another reason - hygienic. Jeans could be tried on by completely different people: sick and healthy. If the clothes are on a person with skin pathologies, then the disease can pass to another with constant wear. It is better not to risk it, but to wash the item immediately after purchase.

How to dry jeans properly

In the warm season, jeans are air dried in the shade. The products are not hung out in the sun, as this leads to fading.Be sure to turn things inside out: firstly, they do not lose the brightness of the color, and secondly, they will not be stained on the front side, if, for example, the wind raises dust.

In winter, it is better to dry your jeans indoors, as the high humidity will not dry properly. In addition, in the cold, the thing will freeze and may break, deform.

After squeezing, the jeans are shaken, stretched slightly in length and width and gently straightened. With clothespins, they cling to the trousers on the belt. Alternatively - hanger drying with existing clothespins. The clothes will dry well and will not wrinkle.

You can hang your jeans on a rope, hooking them to the bottom. This way they will dry longer, as all the water will drain down to the pockets and thighs, where the fabric is multi-layered and dense. You cannot throw jeans over the rope, as this will leave a hall that is difficult to iron.

Denim should not be dried on a battery, as the thing will dry out, deform and acquire creases. And there is a danger that stains will remain from the battery.

Important! The more synthetics in the fabric, the faster the drying process. Tight jeans dry out within 1-2 days.

Jeans care rules

Almost each of us has our own irreplaceable thing in the closet - our favorite jeans. And in order for them to delight us longer (without losing actual beauty, grace, color, shape), it is necessary to adhere to certain rules:

1. Even at the stage of purchase in the store, you need to put on shoes with which you will wear an update. Jeans should not be short, and even more so long - because in the second case - you will sweep the dirty sidewalks of the streets, in rainy weather - disperse puddles, as a result of premature wear and "thrown away" money. The lower edge of the legs should end: at the connecting seam (joint) between the sole of the shoe and the heel - this is a fact, and the first rule.

2. Since factories, manufacturers try to present to their customers the widest possible range of denim items with different properties. Therefore, do not forget to carefully read the labels developed by the manufacturers with the information on the rules for the care of jeans.

4. When soaking and washing denim clothes, thoroughly stir the detergent in water to dissolve all the powder. Never sprinkle laundry detergent on jeans.

5. Do not soak or wash denim with powder that contains bleaching agents.

6. Denim clothes should not be dry-cleaned or exposed to any chemicals on their own, which will turn your favorite jeans into an untidy "floor" rag.

7. It is recommended to wash jeans by hand, or by machine wash on a gentle mode at a water temperature of up to 40 0 C, be sure to turn things inside out, fastening all buttons and zippers, and also checking in advance that there is nothing in the pockets.

8. Never wash jeans with other types of clothing. During the washing process, jeans fade little by little, which is absolutely normal. Therefore, to avoid unnecessarily dyeing all other types of clothing dark blue or black, wash your jeans separately from other items. It is also unacceptable to wash denim clothes together, where there are models of different colors: dark and light. We recommend that you wash them separately.

9. Products with embroidery and jewelry made of beads, crystals, Swarovski stones, natural materials - wood, shells, etc. must be placed in a special bag before washing. Otherwise, in addition to the spoiled thing, you can spoil (break) the washing machine.

10. Dry jeans without wringing or twisting them. Hang the clothes inside out by the belt, allowing the water to drain.

11. Dry in a well-ventilated area. It is not recommended to dry your jeans in the sun, as direct rays can affect the color of the fabric. In this case, your jeans run the risk of burning out.

12.Do not dry jeans on radiators or radiators.

13. Do not wear jeans, even when they are slightly damp. As a result, they can stretch a lot on the knees and in other places.

14. Denim products are convenient because they do not need to be ironed at all. But to make them softer, you can lightly stroke them from the inside out through a damp cloth. But never make "arrows" on jeans, after the very first such ironing, the "vertical arrow" will fade and will be clearly visible.

15. Denim shirts, jackets, sundresses, dresses. it is preferable to iron, and with a slight moisture from the inside out and through a cloth.

16. Be careful when choosing leather belts for light-colored jeans - from close contact with skin (especially dark) light-colored fabric can stain. It will be extremely difficult to remove such a defect.

These are some simple rules and wisdom to help you increase the life of your favorite denim clothing.

Hand washing process

Considering that the latest models of washing machines are able to gently wash even the most capricious fabrics, jeans should still be washed by hand, especially if they have a thin fabric or have rhinestones on it.

For washing by hand, a basin or any container similar in size will not suit you at all, since wet denim is made so rough and not pliable that it is absolutely impossible to do anything with it.

  1. It is necessary to lower the jeans in a bath of water so that they are completely immersed in it. The water must be slightly warm or closer to cold.

  2. Prepare shavings and dissolve in water. A regular detergent will also work.

  3. If the jeans are heavily soiled, then it is necessary to leave them in the bath for thirty minutes, if necessary for an hour, and then intensively rub the jeans trousers.

  4. It is also recommended to use a brush with a sufficiently soft bristle. In this case, the fabric should be rubbed very carefully so as not to destroy its structure and fibers.

  5. Rinse your jeans several times.

  6. Do not wring out the washed product, just let the water drain.

Preparing jeans for washing

Before washing denim pants, you need to inspect them and prepare them for inserting a typewriter into the drum:

  • Check all the pockets and lay out all the things. Particularly dangerous are little things that can clog the drain hose, tear fabric and cause other damage to both the device and things.
  • Treat leather inserts and details with glycerin.
  • Examine trousers for stains and stubborn dirt and remove them with special or home remedies. Oil stains and traces of paint can be removed with kerosene, greasy and other stains can be washed with dishwashing detergent or stain remover. If you find gum on children's jeans, put them in the freezer, and then clean all the pieces.
  • Fasten all zippers, buttons and buttons on the trousers.

The answer to the question of whether it is necessary to turn out jeans depends on the abundance of decor. In order for the metal not to damage the surface of the drum, and the lace and rhinestones not to come off during rotation, the jeans must be turned inside out or packed in a washing net. It is not necessary to turn out simple models without decorative details, although it is desirable.

Basic rules of care

Denim is a blend of cotton and synthetics. Moreover, the cotton component is many times more, therefore, the rules of care are appropriate. So, natural fibers from hot water shrink and lose the acquired pigment, the fabric is reduced by 1-2 sizes and discolored. Hence the basic rule of jeans care: be limited to the minimum or average temperature.

The optimum water temperature for denim is 30-40 degrees. As for the rest of the conditions for washing a denim jacket, there are several of them:

  • in the presence of metal fittings, rivets, zippers and buttons, soak for no more than 1 hour;
  • for blue and blue jeans, use a detergent for colored items;
  • give preference to hand wash;
  • do not try to wash denim on the washboard;
  • when washing in the machine, select a quick program (optimal - 30 minutes);
  • when washing on hands, first rinse at 30 degrees, and then in cold water;
  • dry naturally in a ventilated room or in the fresh air, but away from ultraviolet radiation and heaters.

Interestingly, in the past, denim clothes were washed without removing, in order to fit the fabric to the figure and avoid excessive shrinkage. But now it has become clear that without high-temperature washing, denim is not in danger - if you do not overheat the fabric, then there will be no deformation. Soaking is more and more difficult: prolonged exposure to water leads to the appearance of rust on the metal fittings, which results in brown smudges and stains. It is better to limit the procedure and not soak the jeans for more than 30-120 minutes.

You also need to take care of the color of the jacket. The use of conventional powders is undesirable, since it contains bleaching components that wash out the pigment. It is better to give preference to liquid detergents for colored and denim fabrics. It should also be borne in mind that the dye is applied to denim only on longitudinal or transverse threads, so the product is ironed only from the inside out. Otherwise, the iron will leave behind a discolored mark.

It is also important to consider the composition of a denim jacket. It must be indicated by the manufacturer on the tag sewn to the item.

Completely natural linen does not stretch, it is only washed on the hands or in dry cleaning, however, such "clean" products are rare. More often denim is supplemented with elastane, due to which the fabric acquires elasticity, the ability to stretch and withstand machine wash.

Lightning problems

  • If suddenly the zipper suddenly stops working on your jeans, then you can come to the rescue of a graphite pencil, which you need to draw along the entire length of the zipper. If suddenly the pencil failed to cope with this problem, then you can move on to other lubricants, which can be soap, a drop of oil or hygienic lipstick.

  • If the lock on your trousers does not hold on top, and also does not fasten to the end, then a ring from your bunch of keys, which can be fastened to the zipper slider, and then hooked onto the top button, may serve as a salvage solution for a while. Thus, your trousers will not open on their own when not necessary.

  • In the absence of some teeth on the zipper of your trousers, you can hardly button your jeans properly. In this case, the zipper should be replaced with a new one. But in some situations, if there is no prong at the very end of the zipper, you can do without replacement. The slider should be fastened in such a way that it turns out to be slightly higher than the very place of damage. Now you can sew a few stitches with a needle and thread above where the barb is missing.

  • You can also carefully remove the damaged lock and make a clasp that will be buttoned up.

  • If at the most inopportune moment a slider came off on the jeans lock, without which it would be almost impossible or very problematic to fasten them, then as some kind of temporary solution it will be possible to attach a paper clip or a ring from a bunch of keys instead.

We take into account the manufacturer's recommendations

It is impossible to load the jacket into the vending machine right away - before any manipulations, it is necessary to study the information on the label. It is on it that the manufacturer indicates the optimal conditions for washing and drying the product, encrypted in special icons. So, the following designations are often found on denim:

  • "Basin with water and a number" - water temperature during washing;
  • "Crossed out basin" - washing is contraindicated;
  • “Bowl with lowered hand” - hand wash only;
  • "Triangle" - bleaching is allowed (crossed out, on the contrary, is prohibited);
  • “Circle empty or with a letter” - dry cleaning options;
  • "Dot iron" - ironing temperature;
  • "Square with a circle or stripes" - a method of wringing and drying.

As a rule, an ordinary denim jacket can be machine washed, as indicated by the absence of prohibition signs. But a basin with the number "40" will be applied, which will indicate the recommended washing temperature. The triangle will be crossed out, prohibiting bleaching, and a circle with the letter "P" will indicate that dry cleaning is acceptable. Ironing will be resolved by the image of the iron, and the two points located will give the go-ahead for heating the sole up to 150 degrees. A square with vertical stripes will signal the need to dry the denim while hanging.

Choosing a detergent

Not all commercially available powders are suitable for washing denim. In order not to spoil the quality of the thing, it is necessary to choose detergents for washing colored fabrics and supplement them with conditioners to soften the fibers.

Liquid detergents designed for washing cotton and linen are the preferred option for any jeans. Liquid gels penetrate better into the structure of the fabric and rinse well without leaving streaks.

On sale there are special liquid products of Russian and European production, developed directly for washing denim clothes. They contain substances that soften fabric and help to maintain color. Black jeans are best washed with a product marked “for black clothes”. If the product is decorated with embroideries and appliqués, oxygen powders for mixed fabrics should be used, without the addition of aggressive surfactants.

In the presence of leather and lace details, detergents for delicate wash will be the optimal choice.

In order to prevent jeans from losing their color, it is important to control the absence of chlorine-containing components in the composition.

General recommendations

Deciding whether denim pants can be washed in the washing machine begins by examining the label with the manufacturer's recommendations. Possible restrictions apply to decorative details. Modern jeans are not just work pants from the beginning of the last century.

These are beautiful fashionable trousers, often decorated with leather and lace inserts, metal rivets, appliqués, rhinestones. Designer models are decorated with scuffs, conceptual breaks, and non-standard colors.

The presence of a delicate and capricious decor becomes the main factor that determines how often and in what mode to wash jeans, what powder to prefer, how to dry and other nuances of washing.

The general rules for washing jeans are reduced to the following points:

  • Jeans should be washed as they get dirty, but not too often, so as not to deteriorate the quality of the fabric.
  • At the first wash, jeans should not be washed with other things, as there is a high risk of shedding when excess dye is washed out of the fabric. You can wash new jeans immediately after purchase, without detergent.
  • Do not wash dark and black jeans in very hot water.
  • Do not soak the garment before washing - this leads to color loss. In addition, metal parts can leave traces of rust on the product.
  • It is necessary to dry jeans in a shaded place as the fabric becomes noticeably coarser from the sun.
  • To prevent your jeans from shrinking, it is not recommended to use the tumble dry mode. You can only dry the thing a little to a slightly damp state, then straighten it well, leveling the seams, and dry it in a well-ventilated place.
  • Jeans should be ironed in a slightly damp state, from the inside out.
  • You can put on the washed jeans after they are completely dry, otherwise the trousers will stretch, lose their shape and take on a sloppy look.

Several pairs of trousers can be washed at the same time, but it is important to choose them in the same color scheme, and also take into account that denim becomes heavy when soaked with water and takes up a lot of space.

Features of hand wash clothes with synthetic fur

The best solution would be to hand wash items with a faux fur insert. This will allow you to track the process at all stages and clean the fur product as carefully as possible. To wash synthetic fur by hand, you must:

pre-soak the thing;
gently rub the fabric;
rinse the fur insert;
let the water drain;
dry carefully.

If it is only necessary to freshen the clothes, and not remove dirt, then soaking can be neglected. For intense stains or persistent unpleasant odors, synthetic clothing can be soaked for 15-30 minutes with the addition of a mild detergent. Places of contamination should be rubbed with soap or bile soap. It is allowed to use gentle stain removers intended for washing faux fur garments. The material itself is not recommended to be subjected to friction. Areas made from other fabrics can be rubbed lightly.

Garments should be rinsed in warm or cool water, adding a little conditioner, vinegar or lemon juice for suppleness and shine. Then carefully lay out the product, without stretching, and allow excess moisture to drain. Clothes should not be wrung out, dried horizontally or suspended, avoiding clothespins and other squeezing devices. After complete drying, the fur washed by hand should be combed with a wide-toothed comb and treated with an antistatic agent.

Features of washing in an automatic machine

Jeans are a rather heavy product that is difficult to wash and wring out by hand. The most popular way to clean cotton pants is machine wash. So that jeans do not lose their aesthetic appeal over the years, certain nuances should be taken into account.

Table 1. How to wash jeans in an automatic machine.

Cotton

Suitable for products without impurities. Involves exposure to high temperatures and intense spinning.

Denim clothing

Only some washing machines have this mode. Suitable for the care of any denim products.
Sportswear

The mode to be selected in the presence of intense dirt or a pronounced unpleasant odor.

Delicate wash

The parameters are suitable for the care of women's models decorated with rhinestones or embroidery.

40 ° C

It will allow you to qualitatively clean any denim product, minimizing the risk of shedding and shrinkage.
20-30 ° C

Gentle care for delicate decorations.

When washing, you need to pay attention to the fittings. If cotton trousers have large buttons or metal inserts, then you should set the minimum number of revolutions

Such elements can not only deteriorate themselves, but also cause damage to an automatic washing machine.

How to wash an automatic machine in a washing machine

Preparing and washing your denim jacket:

  • fasten the zipper, all the buttons, turn the thing inside out;
  • select the delicate mode in the machine menu;
  • pour washing gel into the powder compartment;
  • add air conditioner to the special compartment.

For a blue jacket, the recommended water temperature is 40 degrees, for a black one - 30 degrees. Some models of washing machines have a hand wash mode that is also suitable for a denim jacket. You can also find a special program for washing jeans in the menu.

If the fabric of a light jacket is intended to be hand washed, it can still be machine washed, but the spin should be turned off. It is useful to include an additional rinse so that no detergent streaks appear on the fabric.

Washing rules

A few simple guidelines:

  • Read the tag before washing.The washing mode is selected as written on the label. If the manufacturer has not specified the mode, the product is washed in the "Synthetics" mode. If the label says that automatic washing is prohibited, it is undesirable to experiment. Such a thing is intended for hand washing.
  • Only one item can be washed per cycle. If the filler comes out, it will worsen the condition of the other jacket. Sintepon is an artificial insulation, it does not like long soaking in water. The synthetic winterizer dries quickly, when compared with other materials, it does not require special care. It is better to give preference to washing in an automatic machine, the main thing is to know how to properly handle this technique.
  • For such products, it is worth choosing a gentle mode with a temperature setting of no higher than forty degrees. You cannot wash a thing on a padding polyester at a very high temperature. Before washing padding polyester outerwear, you need to find out what material it is made of.

  • A jacket with padding polyester does not need to be pre-soaked. This contributes to the appearance of stains and clumping of padding polyester. This exercise will only worsen the condition of the jacket. It is better not to use powder. It is difficult to wash it, it will quickly be absorbed into the fabric, and the jacket will become covered with white spots.
  • To prevent stains, modern liquid products and hand rinsing are used. The principle of care is the same for both winter and autumn jackets. You can not turn on the strong mode for synthetic winter jackets. Better to squeeze gently by hand.
  • Sintepon is a delicate material, a strong mechanical effect that occurs during spinning damages it. Some jackets on padding polyester do not tolerate tumble drying and turn into a shapeless thing. After the end of washing, the product is straightened and placed on a horizontal surface. Only in this way the insulation will not get lost in a lump, and the thing will retain its original appearance. If you follow the cycle indicated on the label, the jacket will not have any defects after washing.

Denim jackets on padding polyester are washed using a special product. Before washing, the product is turned inside out on the wrong side so as not to spoil the decorative elements on it. Zip pockets and remove valuables. There should be no money, no documents, or keys in your pocket.
The best option for washing synthetic winter jackets, especially white ones, is 30-40 degrees. Fur from a jacket on a padding polyester is unfastened, if possible. By purchasing a special cover for washing in the machine, you can wash the item more carefully.
Taking care of synthetic nylon jackets is easy. They can be tumble dried in the washing machine. It should be noted that nylon fabric does not like high temperatures

Ironing should be done as carefully as possible, while placing a thin non-synthetic fabric.

  • Man-made fibers will retain their shape if you use the delicate and hand wash function. In order to avoid deformation of the jacket, the drying mode is not set. Repeated rinsing will prevent the detergent from remaining on the surface of the fabric. Rinse at least three times. During the spin cycle, do not twist the outerwear, just wrinkle it slightly.
  • Before putting the item into the automatic machine, load special balls with it. They will break up the clumps that form during the wash. Special balls made of lightweight plastic with spikes are very similar to dog toys. Most people do not pay attention to them, not realizing that they can be used to wash synthetic winterizer jackets. They knock out dirt well, even a hand wash cannot give such an excellent result.

Benefits of using plastic spiked balls or tennis balls:

  • things are washed off better;
  • reduced powder consumption;
  • less likely to get white stains;
  • products dry faster.

In what mode to wash jeans

Modern machines provide washing of denim: most of them are equipped with a special "Jeans" mode.True, it does not take into account the nature of the complex decor in the form of rhinestones, thin lace, mesh inserts and scuffs.

If the car model is old, here you can go the other way. The main rule: always follow the recommendations on the clothing label, which clearly indicates the required mode, temperature, number of revolutions during spinning.

The following modes are usually recommended:

  1. Hand wash - allows you to delicately clean your denim without full spinning.
  2. Delicate - ideal for gentle washing of jeans. The temperature should be no higher than 40 degrees, the spin speed should be no more than 800.
  3. Express - used when clothes only need to be freshened up. It is not recommended to wash jeans in this mode. Not suitable for stubborn dirt. Since denim does not tolerate frequent machine manipulation, this is ideal for a 15 minute wash. The thing will not shrink or deform.
  4. Mini 30 or Fast 30 - this mode is recommended for items made of dense fabrics with a minimum of stains. The water does not heat up that much, and the jeans are in the water for no more than 20 minutes, which reduces the likelihood of color washout and shrinkage. You can wash your jeans more often in this program.

Washing black jeans

The issue of proper washing of new jeans is no less important, and especially many people are interested in how to wash black jeans.

  • Correctly wash black or new jeans with a bright color, so that they do not fade, you can first soak them briefly in water with added vinegar. The acid in the vinegar helps fix the color in the denim fibers.
  • The first wash must be done separately, and not with other things, so as not to spoil them. But if you bought jeans of a well-known brand, the quality of which is beyond doubt, there is no danger that they will shed after washing.
  • As a general advice, you can add: if you want black or other bright jeans to not fade when worn and not cover your legs with black or blue spots, you need to reduce the temperature of the washing machine.

If black jeans have lost their previous color over time, the following advice is recommended.

To mask the color loss on black jeans, dissolve a tablespoon of fabric dye in a bucket of cold water. Dip jeans into it for a while, and dry without rinsing.

After drying, the dye can be washed off. Jeans often look like new after this procedure.

How to remove stains

All stains are removed before washing, because under the influence of warm water, they are more eaten into the fabric.

From paint

Blots from water-based paint remove with water, a brush and laundry soap. Enamel stains are removed with gasoline (purified):

  • a bag and paper towels folded in 3-4 layers are placed under the fabric;
  • moisten a cotton pad (cotton wool, rags) in gasoline;
  • rub the track in a circular motion;
  • the dissolved paint is collected with a sponge (microfiber cloth).

Tomato paste

Take 1 tsp. fine salt, 1 tsp. ammonia, mix. The paste is applied to the stain from ketchup, sauce, tomato paste, juice. After 30 minutes, the mass is brushed off with a toothbrush, the jeans are rinsed.

Eggs

Mix 1 part of ammonia, 4 parts of glycerin, apply liquid on the trail of the egg. After 30 minutes, rub the dirty place with a brush, rinse. Gins do their laundry.

Red berries, wine, juices

Dry white wine removes fresh stains from natural fruit and berry juices. Sprinkle with salt first. It is shaken off when it absorbs the liquid, the stained cloth is poured over with wine. Jeans are washed.

Is it machine washable?

As a rule, it is forbidden to wash suede products in the washing machine. It is best to only wash a specific area of the jacket or dry clean. However, if the fabric is not deformed after exposure to the test sample, you can try washing the entire product.

Modern washing machines have a large number of modes, among which you can find something suitable for suede. You need to choose a delicate or hand wash, while setting the temperature to no more than 30 degrees. Contact with water should be minimal, so find a program with a short process time, the optimal time is 15 minutes.

You cannot use automatic spinning, it is better to turn it off completely. Let the rinse be short too, so that the suede jacket does not come into contact with water for a long time. Instead of detergent, use a laundry gel or other liquid detergent that is suitable for baby clothes and without bleach. Only one item should be placed in the washing machine drum; do not add other items to suede outerwear.
