Glue traps - you can buy them in specialized stores or make yourself from a plastic tray with bait, greased with long-drying glue. Penetrating inside, the rat can no longer get out, dies from hunger or from human hands.
Humane traps - these devices do not kill the rodent, but only restrict its movement. Once trapped, the rat can be released away from home.

The most daring owners can destroy a rat by catching it with their own hands. To do this, you need to throw a thick blanket over it. This method of struggle is suitable for dealing with single individuals, but if a whole flock of rodents has settled in the room, its use does not make sense.

As a bait for a mechanical trap, it is best to use meat, bacon, cheese, a slice of sausage.
