Mounting

Salute and Neva

Fully gear reducer. On the Neva there is a chain transmission between the upper and lower gears. Plus, modern bushings and the presence of a differential on the Neva make the gearbox rather unreliable.

The center of gravity of Salyutov is lowered, so it is easier and faster to control it (for example, when working with a plow).
The Neva is heavier, so Salyut is more maneuverable when working in small areas. And the opposite effect - low weight requires the use of additional weighting materials for complex operations (plowing, hilling, milling, etc.).
The diameter of the output shaft of the reducer near the Neva is larger.
The revolutions (crankshaft speed) are higher on the Neva.
