History of MTZ Belarus motoblocks
The first models of walk-behind tractors were positioned as lightweight universal field machines capable of performing basic work on land plots of 1-10 hectares. The first MTZ Belarus began to be produced in the USSR in 1978 by the Minsk Tractor Plant. To add transport functions, a trailed trolley has been developed. The main production of small agricultural machinery was organized at the branch of the head enterprise - Smorgon Aggregate Plant (SAZ), opened in the summer of 1986 in Belarus.
The classification of models is determined by the power of the power plant in horsepower and includes motoblocks of the 05, 06, 08H, 09H, 12 series and less popular 07BS and 10 on B&S and Mitsubishi engines. The most common models gained popularity due to the conscientious implementation of the laid down functional parameters:
- ease of use and service;
- small dimensions for their capabilities and good controllability in work;
- undemanding to fuel and transmission materials;
- availability of spare parts and consumables;
- excellent maintainability.
Old Soviet MTZ walk-behind tractors were called "Belarus", more modern steel "Belarus"
Initially, the motoblocks were called “Belarus” (MTZ-05 and MTZ-06/12), but the improved models of the 90s with foreign engines were called “Belarus”.
User manual
Running in
For a new walk-behind tractor, running-in will be a good start in operation, as it will help to extend the service life of the device.But not only a new walk-behind tractor should be run in, but also one that has not been used for a long time.
Run-in is carried out as follows:
- The gearbox is placed in neutral and the engine is started at idle speed. You can use the device in this mode for about 5 hours without overloading it.
- The next day, it is permissible to use a walk-behind tractor at 50% of its power.
- In the future, the running-in is carried out with a gradual increase in the load.
- During running-in, the tension of the belts is adjusted. However, strong tension should not be allowed.
Service
The advantage of Brait walk-behind tractors is the ability to use gasoline with any octane number, which significantly reduces operating costs.
Checking the oil level with a dipstick
The manufacturer recommends the use of a seasonal gear oil, as inappropriate grease thickens in winter. The tank is filled according to the instructions. It is not recommended to pour more than indicated.
Instructions for preparing the walk-behind tractor for work:
- The walk-behind tractor is inspected and checked for oil or fuel leaks;
- The gearbox is set to neutral;
- The oil level is measured and topped up in case of a shortage;
- The fuel tank is refueled;
- The engine is started.
To implement the start of the movement, you should perform the following steps:
- The engine switches to low revs;
- The clutch is disengaged and the gear is engaged;
- The clutch is released and revs are increased at the same time;
- Movement is in progress.
Complete set of motoblocks Brest
The product is equipped with a reinforced hitch and a power take-off shaft. This allows you to expand its functionality with all types of trailed and attached equipment available on the market.
It is possible to install such devices on the walk-behind tractor:
- Plow. The power of the unit is enough to lift virgin soil with a single share or plow soft soil with 3 knives assembled on 1 frame.
- Hillers and cultivators. With their help, air and moisture are provided to the roots of plants, the creation and maintenance of the shape of the beds. Improved tools provide weeding from the garden.
- All types of mowers. The rotary mower provides a grip up to 120 cm in width, cutting bushes and thick stems. The productivity of hay mowing is up to 12 acres per hour. With the help of trimmers, the cultivation of country lawns is carried out.
- Snowplows. Motoblocks Brest can work with rotary snow blowers, dumps and brushes. These devices allow in a short time to efficiently clean the yard from fresh and packed snow.
- Carts and trailers. Trailers turn a small walk-behind tractor into a full-fledged mini-tractor capable of towing a load weighing up to 500 kg at a speed of up to 12 km / h. The trolleys allow you to carry out agricultural work while transporting vegetables, seedlings and auxiliary equipment in the back.
To increase the cross-country ability and tractive effort, various devices are installed on the walk-behind tractors. So, disk weights weighing up to 40 kg each are attached to pneumatic wheels. Instead of wheels, iron ground hooks are placed, which have a wide rim and significant weight.
Motoblock "Farmer" 702 PRO-SL
Milling cultivator "Farmer", produced with reduced gear. Created specifically for those farmers who need to complete labor-intensive tasks in the shortest possible time and at the same time save motor resources. Does not skid on chernozems and other moisture-consuming soils. An important advantage of the model is its 3rd support wheel, which makes it easier for a person to support the balance of the device. It needs to be filled with SAE 10W-40 or 15W-40 oil, the level indicator of which is on the oil tank.
Advantages:
- 4-stroke engine with gear reduction gear;
- 4-speed operating mode, which makes it possible to develop up to 12 km / h;
