User manual
User manualsupplied with Caiman cultivators. contains recommendations for assembling and adjusting mechanisms. To control the engine speed, a lever or rotary regulator with a stop position of the power unit is used. To select the speed and direction of movement, a separate lever is used, which moves in a straight line or along a sector. Before starting operation, the engine is filled with engine oil with the viscosity recommended by the manufacturer.
The units are designed with a safety valve that opens before starting the engine. After starting the motor of the Neo cultivator or similar equipment, it is recommended to start moving immediately, downtime leads to overheating and the formation of carbon deposits in the combustion chamber. Gear shifting is carried out only when the clutch lever is depressed. To ensure trouble-free operation, it is necessary to inspect and lubricate the control cables and rods annually (according to the attached map).

Service
In order for Forza walk-behind tractors to serve as long as possible, it must be properly used and maintained.
- It is necessary to use the walk-behind tractor only for its intended purpose;
- Do not change the factory settings or carry out conversion yourself;
- It is forbidden to come close to the rotating parts of the Forza walk-behind tractor or attachments;
- Allow the device to cool down before starting maintenance work;
- Only official attachments should be used, otherwise the Forza walk-behind tractor may fail;
- Before each drive, visually inspect the machine parts for wear or abnormal position;
- After each work, it is necessary to clean the walk-behind tractor from grass, leaves and dirt in order to prevent a fire when the engine heats up;
- Contact of the device with water is prohibited, as the mechanisms may jam, especially for the control handles;
- Change the engine oil every 20 hours of operation of the walk-behind tractor. A lubricant of the 10W-30 series must be used;
- Change the transmission oil every 100 hours of operation. It is recommended to use Tap-15v, TAD-17i or their analogs.
- After 300 hours of operation, it is necessary to replace the air filters, check the condition of the spark plugs and adjust the clutch cable.
Running in
The main thing is to start using the Forza walk-behind tractor correctly. The further operability of the device will depend on the assembly and the first operating hours.
Immediately after assembly, it is not allowed to use the walk-behind tractor at full power, since the oil has not yet passed through the entire system, and the engine parts must be run-in. This is a procedure when the Forza walk-behind tractor is applied at half the maximum power. The ideal option is to drive with an empty trailer when there is a slight load on the engine of the device.
Then, you can start operating at half the maximum power. For example, if the plow can plunge into the ground by 18 cm, then during running-in it should enter only 9 cm.
Major malfunctions
No matter how carefully the owners handle the Forza walk-behind tractors, they periodically fail due to various circumstances. Therefore, you need to know how to troubleshoot simple faults.
If the engine does not start, then here are the main reasons and solutions to the problem:
- Check for fuel;
- Adjust the throttle position;
- Check the spark plug and wires to it, see if there is a spark;
- The air filter is clogged;
- Water has entered the gasoline;
- Debris has entered the fuel tank;
- Adjust the correct mixture in the carburetor.
Motoblock Forza does not start well:
- Adjust the throttle position;
- Clean the air filter;
- The spark plug has become unusable or contact with it leaves;
- Poor fuel was used.
The engine gets very hot:
- Not enough oil or low oil level;
- The ventilation or motor is dirty;
- A foreign object has fallen into the muffler.
Description
The Caiman cultivator with a Subaru engine has gained significant popularity in agricultural farms in Russia, as well as among owners of summer cottages.
The design of the units from this manufacturer has many positive qualities:
- good fit of all knots;
- working capacity;
- reliability;
- ease of repair:
- low price;
- availability of spare parts on the market.
The weight of the models does not exceed, as a rule, 60 kg.
The cultivator can work with almost any soil, the optimal cultivation area is up to 35 acres.
In terms of power plants, Caiman also has a number of notable advantages:
- compact dimensions;
- the ability to adjust the processed strip;
- there is a universal coupling.
Japanese four-stroke power plants from Subaru differ:
- the average size of the drive belt;
- the presence of a reverse gear and transmission on almost all models;
- pneumatic clutch;
- the presence of a gasket on the carburetor.
The equipment from the French manufacturer has four-stroke engines of Japanese origin (Subaru, Kawasaki), which are distinguished by good power, economical fuel consumption. The production of Caiman cultivators began in 2003.
The shaft in a Subaru engine is located in a horizontal plane, which makes it possible to more fully transfer the load. In addition, the operation of the unit produces less background noise. The engine is fixed on the bed, the transmission mechanism works with the help of a belt pulley.
The Caiman gearbox provides a rotational impulse to the driven sprocket. If the model has a reverse, then a conical coupling is mounted on top. The sprocket axis protrudes beyond the gearbox: this makes it possible to attach lugs and wheels.
When the unit is idling, the transfer pulley does not transmit impulse to the clutch. For this to happen, the clutch must be squeezed out. The idler pulley transforms the movement of the pulley, thus the impulse is transmitted to the gearbox.
This design makes it possible to process even hard virgin soils.
All Caiman units are equipped with a reverse, which allows the mechanism to be more precise and dynamic in operation.
User manual.
Before you start using the Caiman cultivator, you should carefully read the instruction manual, which is attached to each unit sold:
it is important to fill in the oil recommended by the manufacturer;
before starting to work on the cultivator, you should "drive" the engine idling;
it is important to monitor the unit so that rust does not appear;
store the device in a dry place with good air exchange;
metal objects should not fall on moving parts;
use only the fuel recommended by the manufacturer.
Preventive repairs should be done at specialized service centers. Often faults are with pulleys, which you can replace yourself.
As a rule, Caiman units are equipped with the following components:
- various cutters;
- instruction;
- warranty card;
- a set of necessary tools.
The weight of the units ranges from 45 to 60 kg, which makes it possible to transport the cultivators on a passenger car. Caiman cultivators are unpretentious and can work in rather harsh climatic conditions.
You can change consumables and make preventive maintenance of these mechanisms in the field.All the details of the maintenance of such equipment are spelled out in the instructions-memo.
For an overview of one of the Caiman cultivator models, see the following video.
Advantages and disadvantages
The advantages of the technology released under the Cayman brand include:

Attachment overview
All Cayman Vario walk-behind tractors are rationally aggregated with a variety of accessories for agrotechnical, communal, and household work.
Cutters
Tillers (3 pairs) are the main equipment of the Caiman walk-behind tractor, they can be in the form of "crow's feet" or ordinary workers - Razor Blade, saber-shaped, equipped with 4 knives with a special sharpening angle.
The cutters are quick-detachable, which allows you to quickly assemble and reinstall them on the walk-behind tractor.
Trolley, adapter
On Cayman walk-behind tractors, a trailer is rationally installed on the rear hitch, which allows you to transport various loads. The adapter is a seat with a wheelset, which is extremely convenient when performing large volumes of work.
Cargo trolley
Mower
Cayman walk-behind tractors are adapted for hanging various models of mowers - rotary and frontal, with the help of which you can put the lawn in order and prepare animal feed.
Mower "Terminator"
Most often, owners are interested in the powerful Terminator lawn mower with a working width of 0.5 m, which is capable of mowing plants at least 50 cm high without difficulty, leaving a neat, 5 cm high mat.
Plow
Certain modifications of Caiman walk-behind tractors are equipped with a plow or a reversible plow. When, what and how best to plow - with milling cutters or a plow? This task should be performed based on the characteristics of the soil, taking into account that the plow powerfully turns the layers from the depth to the top, including virgin soils.
Thus, it is better to carry out deep plowing in the fall, so that the roots of the weeds will freeze out in the winter, and the fertile soil layer will recover faster before spring work. Tillers are good for soft plowing before planting crops. For plowing, it is possible to use a special Maxi kit or kits with weights.
How convenient it is to plow with a Caiman Quatro Max 70S TWK + walk-behind tractor with a Plow2 reversible plow is shown in the video:
Wheels, lugs
Pneumatic wheels are initially supplied with some models of Cayman walk-behind tractors. Aggressive tread allows you to successfully perform various work on the ground and on the farm. When cutting furrows, working with a plow, cutters, complete with a potato digger and a potato planter, instead of wheels, lugs are hung, which contribute to better movement of the Cayman walk-behind tractor.
Snow blower
Thanks to the front-wheel drive, Cayman walk-behind tractors can be connected to a variety of attachments for household purposes: a snow blower, a shovel-blade with a working width of 1 m, a communal brush.
Auger snow throwers are especially popular, which allow not only to clear the area, but also to throw snow a few meters to the side.
Potato diggers and potato planters
Such important work on the site as planting and digging potatoes can be mechanized using a potato planter and a potato digger, significantly saving time and effort.The planting process is extremely simple: cutting the furrows and placing the potatoes followed by hilling. Digging is no less simple - the hitch loosens the soil and turns the tubers upward.
Couplings and weights
Various couplings allow you to rationally aggregate additional implements on the Caiman walk-behind tractor. For machines with light weight, weights will be needed to ensure the required depth of processing.

Razor Blade cutters equipped with quick-detachable couplings are used for soil cultivation. Depending on the adjustments, the equipment processes a strip of soil with a width of 300, 600 or 900 mm. For the manufacture of working edges, carbon steel, which has undergone a heat treatment cycle, is used. The configuration of the blades ensures the destruction of clods of earth and reduces the level of vibration when the walk-behind tractor is moving.
Mokko 40 C2
The Caiman Mokko 40 C2 cultivator is equipped with a 100 cc Green Engine with forced air cooling.The power system has a foam rubber air filter and a carburetor, which ensures a constant composition of the mixture (regardless of filter clogging). To transmit torque to the reversible gear, a belt drive with an automatic tensioner is used.
The equipment has a curb weight of 39 kg, the use of the Right Balance system reduces the load on the hands and spine of the operator during soil cultivation. The installation of a chain main gearbox has improved the efficiency of the engine. Due to the high rotational speed of the cutters (up to 160 rpm), loosening of stony and virgin soils is ensured. On the side parts of the Caiman Mokko 40 C2 petrol-type cultivator, there are protective discs that protect tree trunks and shrubs from damage by the sharp edges of the cutters.
Eco Max 50S C2
The Caiman Eco Max 50S C2 cultivator is equipped with high-strength steel cutters, standard for Caiman machines, mounted on quick-release couplings. The width of the plowed strip can be adjusted in the range from 300 to 900 mm. The weight of the installation reaches 54 kg, the soil loosening depth is up to 320 mm. For movement, a 1-speed gearbox with a chain drive is used. The clutch is of a mechanical type, the cultivator is controlled by folding handles.
The Eco 50S C2 cultivator belongs to the Cayman series with a Subaru engine, with a working volume of 169 cm³. To start the power unit, a rope manual starter with an automatic reel is used. To increase reliability, 2 piston rings are used, a pump is provided for pumping gasoline into the carburetor's float chamber. Forced fuel supply ensures easy starting after long periods of inactivity. The fuel supply is stored in a metal tank with a capacity of 3.4 liters.
The equipment is completed with an additional gearbox with reduced overall dimensions, borrowed from a gasoline scythe. To improve reliability, bevel gears with additional tooth processing are used and ball bearings are installed. The design of the gearbox provides a reduction in the level of vibrations transmitted to the body of the walk-behind tractor during operation. The design of the unit provides for a reverse gear.
Features of operation and maintenance
A lot of time has passed since the brand was founded. The company is constantly working to expand the range and improve the existing equipment. Despite the fact that assembly plants are now located in 16 countries around the world, Caiman continues to delight consumers with high-tech equipment that fully meets modern requirements.
All Cayman factories, regardless of geographic location, have a single quality standard, which practically excludes the likelihood of defective products appearing on the market. Gasoline cultivators Cayman, equipped with engines from the Subaru company, are distinguished by their reliability. As practice shows, subject to the provisions of the operating manual, the service life of the cultivators significantly exceeds the 2500 hours declared by the manufacturer.
The main requirements of the manufacturer include:
- It is forbidden to use gasoline below the AI 92 grade. Failure to comply with this requirement will lead to sad consequences - breakdowns of the power system elements and a significant reduction in the engine's service life, up to repair. Signs of refueling with substandard fuel - problems with starting, a noticeable decrease in power, interruptions in operation, increased consumption.
- Follow the maintenance schedule. In this case, you should use consumables recommended by the manufacturer. This also applies to engine and transmission oil.
- Do not store the cultivator outdoors. It should be under a shed or in a garage.
- Avoid the appearance of foci of corrosion.
- Any operation, be it maintenance or repair, must not contradict the provisions of the operating instructions.
First start-up and run-in
At the running-in stage, intensive running-in of the mating surfaces of the engines and the transmission of the cultivator takes place. The procedure is accompanied by smoothing out microscopic irregularities, improving the quality of rubbing surfaces with a decrease in the coefficient of friction, as well as calibrating the established gaps.
Correct running-in is a guarantee of long-term operation of the equipment. This procedure is performed during the first 10 hours of continuous operation, from the moment the engine is started. Operation is carried out in a gentle mode - the engine should be loaded no more than half the rated power. In this case, the first 30 minutes, the equipment is run in at idle speed.
Change the engine oil after 10 hours.
Preservation for the winter
Despite the fact that most Cayman cultivators and walk-behind tractors can be used all year round, the owners of summer cottages usually do not work in winter, leaving the device for storage.
There are several simple rules, the observance of which will allow the cultivator to safely wait out the cold:
- Conservation begins with cleaning surfaces from contamination;
- The device should be stored in a dry room with normal humidity, in order to avoid the appearance of foci of corrosion;
- Transmission and engine oils should be filtered or replaced;
- It is better to store the battery separately, in a warm room; since it is sensitive to negative temperatures;
- Pour 20-30 ml of engine oil into the cylinder, then turn the crankshaft several times - this will protect the liner surface from corrosion.
Possible malfunctions and repairs
Persons without experience are strongly advised not to engage in self-repair of equipment. It is better to contact a specialized service center - they are in every major city.
The main problems of Cayman cultivators with Subaru engines are considered:
- Insufficient motor power. Probable causes: clogged air filter or muffler, incorrect carburetor settings, low compression.
- The engine gets very hot. The probable cause is a malfunction of the cooling system.
- Motor stalls under load. The likely cause is a clogged fuel filter, incorrect carburetor settings.
- The cutters do not rotate when the engine is running. The probable cause is a malfunction of the clutch mechanism.
