But you can grow it in the form of a bush, tying it to vertical supports to protect it from the wind. By the way, it is often called the “rose of paradise”. Indeed, when you stand near an adult flowering bush, which is adorned with an abundance of creamy white flowers with a bright pink edge, it seems that such beauty can only be in paradise.

But this rose has 3 drawbacks: weak aroma, instability of flowers to rain, and thick shoots, which have to be bent for the winter in 2-3 doses.

JasminaKordes, 2005 This rose amazes with excellent health and abundant flowering - new shoots have caps of up to 50 buds! The flowers are medium-sized, cup-shaped, with the most delicate pink-lilac tint and an amazing aroma! And what is more pleasant - the shoots fit well in the winter.

Dorothy perkinsJacksaon & Perkins USA, 1901 It is not without reason that this climbing rambler rose has been so popular in the world for more than 100 years - its powerful bushes 3 m high and more than 2 m wide are strewn from top to bottom with cascades of small, 3-5 cm in diameter pink flowers. The foliage is small, glossy and completely covered with flowers during flowering. Blooms once. Looks great on a high trunk - its long shoots gracefully hang down in a luxurious waterfall.

RaubritterKordes, 1936 This outstanding rose is over 80 years old, but it still drives flower growers all over the world crazy. Belongs to the group of ramblers. It blooms once, but very profusely. The flowers are medium-sized, 5–6 cm in diameter, and resemble pom-poms in shape - they seem to have descended from old paintings. The shoots are very thorny and flexible, easily bend in any direction, so there are no problems with laying them for the winter.

P.S. Please note - most of the roses in the list of the rose collector Alexei Stepanov belong to the selection of Cordes. And this is not surprising, because the climate in Germany is closest to ours. Heat-loving French women are still lagging behind in disease resistance. This vibrant hybrid tea rose is known to many fans of the queen of flowers.Its scarlet double flowers (10-12 cm in diameter) are cup-shaped, located on high stems one by one, tolerate rain well. In addition, the tall and slightly spreading bush is adorned with gorgeous light green leaves, which become reddish over time. The Alexander rose reaches a height of 1.5 m, so it is not suitable for a small flower garden.

The plant is resistant to diseases, but for a spectacular flowering throughout the growing season, it is necessary to regularly cut off the faded buds. A flowerbed with these roses is best placed in a sunny and wind-protected place.

3. American Pride

These spectacular red-burgundy, velvety, double flowers (up to 15 cm in diameter) in the form of a glass can be located on the stem one by one or 5-7 buds. The rose bush is dense and erect. Strong stems are strewn with leathery large leaves of a dark green color.

When growing American Pride hybrid tea roses, you need to take into account that this plant is picky about watering. If the soil is not moist enough, there are fewer buds on the bush, and they become smaller.

5. Double Delight

This is one of the most famous modern hybrid tea roses. The plant quickly gained popularity due to the contrasting color of large flowers (up to 15 cm in diameter): on the outside, the petals are pink-crimson, and on the inside, creamy white. The buds are located on a tall, erect bush and exude a strong aroma throughout the summer.

Rose Double Delight requires sheltered from the wind and well-lit places, since in the shaded corners of the garden, its petals can lose their crimson hue. Disease resistance is average: the rose is susceptible to powdery mildew.

6. Dame de Couer

7. Lucky Piece

On a dense, but rather compact bush, incredibly beautiful dense double (45-50 petals) flowers in the shape of a bowl (10-12 cm in diameter) bloom throughout the summer. Most often they are collected in inflorescences of 3-6 pieces. The unusual color of the buds is simply mesmerizing: on the upper side, the petals are apricot-pink, and on the bottom - orange-red.

Lucky Peace is resistant to powdery mildew and black spot. For abundant flowering, the rose must be planted in a well-lit place and fed from May to July every 2 weeks. At the same time, complex mineral and organic fertilizers alternate.

8. Landora

The popular hybrid tea rose of the Landora variety is attractive for its refined double flower shape (up to 12 cm in diameter) and rich yellow color. The flower "owes" its "slenderness" to the unusual pointed petals, of which there are about 40 in the bud.

The plant blooms profusely and for a long time, looks good when cut. The rose bush grows quite high (about 1 m), on its strong shoots, the buds are most often located in inflorescences (up to 7 pieces).

Landora is unpretentious in care, quite resistant to diseases (only sometimes it can get sick with powdery mildew) and is not afraid of cold weather - in many regions of the middle lane it can grow even without winter shelter.

9. Mr Lincoln

Terry, velvet, red-crimson flowers (up to 10 cm in diameter) are located on a high stem singly and strongly, very pleasantly fragrant. Dense and pointed petals (35-40 pieces) with slightly curved edges closely adjoin each other and form at first a cupped, and when fully blooming - an almost flat bud.

The variety is not resistant to diseases: it is often powerless against powdery mildew, and sometimes even black spot. However, graceful roses do not lose their ideal shape and bright color even under the scorching sun and long rain.
