The correct timing for planting cucumbers

What do the rightly chosen rules and timing of planting cucumbers guarantee? In fact, in most cases, gardeners recognize two types of planting for this beneficial crop. It directly depends on future seedlings and their timing.

For central Russia, it is convenient to plant cucumbers in open ground in late May, or even early July. It is believed that the soil during this period is the most suitable. It contains everything a plant should receive in the form of nutrients. Also, the following is known about planting cucumbers:

• The seeds germinate well, but at first it is better to work them out by soaking and warming up;
• The soaking process takes 12 hours;
• Warming up is done with gauze bags, in which the seeds are hung near the batteries;
• If you do not carry out heating, future fruits will be less resistant to diseases of various types;
• Planting seedlings requires certain knowledge, for example, humus is added to the hole under the seedling, as well as soil mixed with manure;
• Seeds are planted in lines, at least 2 cm deep, while leaving 15 cm between them;
• Several seeds are needed for each hole;
• Anticipate weather conditions, better protect from poor planting.

Here are win-win recommendations. There is also a cucumber seedling, but they are not very fond of it. It had a weak root system, which makes any manipulations with seedlings dangerous. Seedling lovers are recommended to use peat pots, which are sold in stores. You still have to choose which of the seedlings is the strongest. It is they who will bring the timing of planting cucumbers closer to the long-awaited collection of fruits.
