Annual mallow is very unpretentious
There are practically no gardeners or gardeners who could ignore the cultivation of various flowers, because in the process of flowering, the garden / vegetable garden transforms and becomes truly fabulous. Everyone chooses a certain variety of flowers according to their tastes and flowering period. Most often, the following flowers can be found in one territory: lilies of the valley, tulips, daffodils, peonies, chrysanthemums, roses and many others.
Today we will focus on mallow, which is more often an annual, less often a biennial and perennial plant. There are about 30 species of mallow that grow in Europe, Asia, North America and Africa.
Annual mallow, depending on the variety, can have a height of 30 to 120 cm. Its special distinguishing feature is its bright colorful flowers growing on individual stalks. To observe a longer flowering period, it is necessary to remove the wilted flowers.
For many gardeners, annual mallow is of particular value, since it is not at all whimsical in care, does not require special care and special soil fertility. Being drought-resistant, it does not require frequent watering - it is enough to water the plant abundantly once a week, but make sure that the water does not stagnate.
If you allocate a separate area for mallow, it will independently multiply by seeds and grow from year to year in the same place. It is not difficult to create flower beds from it or place it in a special order according to colors. Annual mallow blooms, starting from the end of June and ending in late autumn (provided that the autumn is warm).
I love mallow. True, in the first year I had to suffer with her, but then I understood the basic principles of leaving.
