Sweet cherry yellow

Yellow cherry can be represented by a variety such as Drogana yellow. This variety is quite old and widespread.

Yellow cherry is a vigorous tree with a round or pyramidal crown. Drogana yellow has even shoots of light brown color, which are covered with a bluish bloom. The leaves are large and even, elongated-oval, dark green in color. The leaves have a strongly pointed tip with a sharp base. Cherry flowers are collected in two or three in an inflorescence. The flowers are of medium size, have a saucer-shaped corolla and rounded contiguous white petals. They have a bell-shaped cup. The pistil is medium, it is on the same level with the anthers.

Sweet cherry yellow has round-heart-shaped yellow fruits. The pulp of the fruit is sweet, firm, light yellow. The bone is ovoid. Fruit transportability is insufficient. The sweet cherry has a long stalk, strong attachment to the tree.
