The name is Ratunda pepper, aka gogoshar, but the roots are still the same - these fruits are a separate kind of sweet pepper.

Brightness of color, surface in the form of slices, as well as external resemblance to pumpkin - these are the distinguishing features of this vegetable. Well, the fleshiness and flattened shape of this pepper, along with a unique tenderness in taste, have become its attributes, which even an inexperienced consumer will discern. Still - the thickness of the walls of the fruit of this centimeter can easily exceed the mark 7 in millimeters.

  • The soil should be loamy and so that the flow of air is not obstructed.
  • If before that on the land you planted cabbage or cucumbers - will be an advantage.
  • In our domestic conditions, the plant is planted with seedlings (at least 2 months of age, and the landing site is 60x30 centimeters).
  • In order to get seedlings, pepper seeds must be dissected with a solution of potassium permanganate, followed by rinsing with plain water until clean.

  • Such pepper should be "fed" with a standard mineral fertilizer (which is also used for other vegetables) and during the time that the plant grows.

I have not yet grown Ratunda pepper, I would never have thought that this variety has such a large amount of vitamins, and ascorbic acid, more than lemon. I feed other varieties of bell peppers only with organic fertilizers, since mineral fertilizers increase the acidity of the soil.
